From the very start, she was amazing – so professional yet incredibly easy to chat to, which instantly put us at ease. On the day, I hardly realised she was there, she blended in so naturally while still capturing all the special moments. She made both us and our guests feel completely comfortable. We’ve already had a few teaser shots back and are absolutely blown away – they’re stunning and full of emotion. We honestly can’t wait to see the full gallery. We cannot recommend Rachael from ‘As You Are Photography’ and her wonderful assistant Shauna enough! My partner and I aren’t naturally comfortable in front of a camera, but Rachael made us feel completely at ease from the very beginning. Her warm and friendly approach allowed us to relax and enjoy the day without feeling overly staged or posed. Rachael truly has a gift for capturing moments as they naturally unfold. She perfectly documented all the emotions, joy, and little details of our day in a way that felt genuine and true to us. Her ability to blend into the background while still getting all the important shots was remarkable, and the results are absolutely stunning. We didn’t want overly posed photos and instead hoped for a natural style that truly reflected the essence of the day. Rachael delivered this flawlessly, and we couldn’t be happier with the memories she’s created for us. Hiring her was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

My wife and I chose Rachael to be our photographer for our wedding and we don’t regret our decision in the least. After many hours of looking at the work of local photographers online, we fell in love with her style of photography. She stayed in contact with us in the lead up to the wedding, made sure she knew exactly what shots we wanted and even visited the venue to scout it out beforehand- so she had brilliant ideas of shots to supplement our own! When the big day came, she couldn’t have been more wonderful. She was unobtrusive and supportive, putting both of us at ease, fading into the background and capturing brilliant candid photos of all the guests! The gallery we got is simply amazing- beautiful photos expertly edited, we will always treasure the photos she took for us and I can honestly recommend her in the strongest possible terms to anyone looking for a photographer. We used Carla from NozzyFilms as our Videographer because both Rachael and Carla work closely together and they were an amazing team! If you don’t at least consider having them both there for your big day, you’re missing out!

Rachael was amazing. The communication all the way up to the day and on the day ensuring she captured every special moment was fantastic. My partner and I are not big photo people but she made us feel so comfortable and relaxed it was a brilliant experience. On the day Rachael was really good at appearing to confirm specific details or asking if we could take a moment to use the light or a specific area of our venue but the rest of the time blended with the guests ensuring we never felt recorded etc. This was such an amazing skill as it allows her to really capture some incredible candid and relaxed moment from all of our guests that for us were so important to have !! We could not recommend her enough!!

Rachael is an extremely professional photographer who really listens to her clients and their vision for their wedding day. We hired Rachael as our photographer for our wedding day. Rachael was amazing throughout the whole process. Early on, Rachael got in contact to schedule a video call to get to know us and discuss through details. This felt very personal and it was lovely to put a face to a name. Rachael was very experienced and helped make suggestions and advice about how to organise our day (particularly timings). We felt very supported by Rachael throughout the wedding planning process. On the day, Rachael was a warm, friendly and calming influence. She captured so many natural, candid moments which produced photos we will treasure forever. Rachael helped guide us through the day and meet the timings on our timeline which was greatly appreciated. We received our preview photos within a week and the full gallery in a month. There was an abundance of really beautiful and special photos, which is making it very hard to choose which ones we want on our wall! We would highly recommend Rachael As You Are Photography for any event 🙂
