Betty Gets Hitched is London’s best kept bridal secret. I got my dream dress for my wedding at Hedsor House. The boutique is owned and run by Candace, who is an extremely talented bridal expert, designer and seamstress. She has a ton of experience and is one of the best there is. (Trust me, I tried loads of boutiques!!) Not only does BGH have an amazing selection of dresses, Candace adds so much value to the experience because she can expertly advise on how the dress will be fitted to you. (Many other shops will sell you a dress and then you have to separately work out the fit and details when the seamstress is available, which is often after you’ve purchased the dress). For various reasons, I needed a dress fitted and completed within 2 weeks. From the minute I met Candace she immediately made me feel calm and well looked after, with her expert knowledge and trustworthy nature. She is a really genuine and kind person. Once I had picked my dress, Candace did the fitting there and then for me (to avoid me having to do another trip back another day). She then had the dress ready for collection the following Sunday (which was just 4 days later) because she wanted to make sure I had extra days in case I wanted to make further alterations. But the dress was perfect when I got it on the Sunday. I have no idea how she fitted the bodice so well to me - it was like it had been moulded to my body and there was no way it would slip down. On my wedding day, I felt amazing in the dress and so grateful I found Candace who really pulled off a miracle in such a short space of time. So many people commented on how perfect the fit was. I’d recommend this boutique 10000%.
