My wedding is really soon is there time to order a dress?
Absolutely we have over a 130 dresses in store to choose from which can be bought and taken away that day, or if our designers have your dress in their inventory and we can order it to arrive in time we can explore that option too... we have seamstresses whom can start on your alterations immediately too.
Do I need to bring anything to the appointment
No just yourself and up to 3 guests to give you honest and helpful advice and feedback. We have shoes, robes and our expert bridal consultants to help and advise, so if you are alone you will always have us as your bride tribe .
why do you charge for weekend appointments?
We charge for all appointments due to the demand for brides to visit Burr Bridal as many stores do... our weekday appointments do offer the charge back against a dress purchase and our Saturday appointments offer a voucher for the full amount plus extra to use against your dress purchase, the reason stores now charge is to ensure the brides whom are booking are serious and really feel confident that they want to visit, we have had to implement the charge to deter the customers who would book but not turn up or cancel last minute this impacts on a small business, since charging we have seen a 99% fall in no shows.
What is the average price for a wedding dress at Burr Bridal
The average we are currently seeing is a spend of between £1200 and £1800, this is just by looking at our data in the last year, however our prices start around £899 to £2200 but most sit around £1499. Our sale rail offers huge discounts on our designer labels and is well stocked with discontinued samples or if we decide not to carry a label we move the sample dresses onto the sale rail with prices from £300 to £1000
What if I need alterations do you handle that and will the cost be extra
At Burr Bridal we have a team of amazing specialist seamstresses whom are expert in their field of alterations on bridal gowns, the seamstresses are independent from the store and you pay them for the work they do on your alterations, we handle all the appointments from the store on your behalf. We are happy for you to source or use your own seamstress if preffered
How many guest can I bring along to my appointment
We can allow 3 guests to accompany the bride, in total 4 people, if you need to bring more guests you can book a Sunday VIP appointment which can accommodate up to 8 guests, however this is a closed shop appointment and carries a fee for the option. All our appointment options is on our booking system via our website.
