FAQS
Where are you based?
I'm based in Norfolk, but spend lots of time travelling all over the country for weddings. Most of the weddings I photograph are in London, which I called home for 12 years.
Do you offer films as well?
I do! Short highlights films can be added onto your coverage as an optional extra. They're in no way a replacement for a full wedding film, but add an extra dimension to your coverage.
How would you describe your style on the day?
find it fairly hard to find the right words to describe my photographic style, so hopefully if you like what you see, if it gives you a certain feeling, then you know I'm the right photographer for you. In terms of my approach on the day - I'm 90% photojournalistic, blending in, documenting, observing and hoping I don't get spotted. I'll be a little bit more assertive when it's time to get some photos of your families, but we'll keep it brief - no more than 15 or 20 minutes. When it comes to time to get some shots of the both of you we'll keep it short, fun and relaxed. I'll put you in the good light or with the epic background I know will look awesome, and then let the two of you be yourselves.
Do you work with a second photographer?
Most often I work by myself - probably 85% of the weddings on my site were shot solo. Ask me and I can tell you which ones. I really like working by myself - it means I can blend in quietly, and your day feels less like a photoshoot. Some photographers always come as a pair, but more isn't always more - sometimes they just really like working together. All that said, if you would like to add a second photographer to your package you can. The main benefits are if you're having a large wedding (150+ guests), a really tight timeline or you would like coverage of both of you getting ready. It's always worth having a chat to work out whether it will be of benefit to you. All the second photographers I work with are experienced photographers in their own right - at the time of booking it is usually not possible to guarantee who the second photographer will be (I still second shoot occasionally for friends if I have a gap in my diary) but they will be someone awesome and who I trust implicitly.
Do we get rights to the images?
Absolutely, you get full a personal usage license in perpetuity. This means high resolution non watermarked images and the ability to print your images yourselves, share with friends and family, make copies etc.
