Where does the ceremony take place?
You can select from a variety of beautiful licenced areas within the venue for your ceremony, each with a unique atmosphere and capacity. You could go for the stunning Ballroom, which can seat up to 85 or 120 people standing and has everything you could want for a traditional-style ceremony, including tall gilt mirrors and an ornate ceiling. The idyllic Summer House, which seats up to 45 guests, is the ideal location if you want something a little more rustic. It has an airy, Mediterranean feel with light streaming through the large glass ceiling. Or if you have always dreamt of having an outdoor garden wedding enveloped by beautiful colours and scents, the gorgeous Walled Garden is a perfect choice. You'd exchange your vows under the wrought iron gazebo, surrounded by your nearest and dearest. Don't worry if a civil ceremony isn't for you! Whatever your vision is, Garthmyl Hall has the perfect place for your wedding ceremony.
How many guests can stay on site?
The hall itself sleeps 21 (included in the hire price) across 10 individually and uniquely designed rooms. Along with this, The Stables are a stones throw away, hosting 5 cottages which can be booked separately for your wedding guests. From each cottage, guests can expect plush interiors, modern self-catering facilities along with beautiful original features, such as exposed brick and wooden beams. The Stables comprises of The Old Dairy, sleeping 10 people, The Clock Tower sleeping 8, Ty Bach 1 & 2 sleeping 2 each and the Wain-House, also sleeping 2 people.
What does a typical wedding at Garthmyl Hall look like?
A typical wedding at the hall is bright, fun, quirky and memorable! Each wedding is totally unique to you as there are so many different options - from the walled garden, to the ballroom to the three separate bars, there are endless possibilities for each aspect of the day to make it as special as possible and exactly what you envisioned. You can be sure that the dedicated team here will go all out to make your wedding one to remember!
Can we bring our own suppliers?
Yes!! The only set suppliers we have are three set caterers - you must choose from Tallulah's Catering, Wild Garlic or Comyn Bruce for your wedding meal. You are free to bring in any evening food suppler and any others you want! (they will just need to be approved by us first). We can also recommend a number of different suppliers who have worked with us at the Hall and are very familiar with the venue.
What is included?
The hire cost applies to the hire of the entire Hall and grounds for 48 hours over a weekend or midweek, including all bedrooms inside the Hall. You are then free to choose whatever suppliers (caterers, musicians, photographer, decor etc) you wish, meaning that you are in complete control of your budget and can tailor your wedding to your tastes. We can always make some recommendations if needed as we are lucky enough to regularly work with some amazing suppliers!
