How much do you charge?
Because every bride is different, every service is slightly different. Gillian has fixed rates however they alter according to the time of the ceremony, number of assistants (if necessary), number of people in the wedding party and where the wedding is taking place.
Do you Travel?
Yes, I love visiting different venues all over the UK and am happy to travel, there would of course, be an additional charge for this if outside the 20mile radius of my home in Somerset.
Do you offer a Trial?
I highly recommend a trial beforehand as this allows us the time to get to know one another, and for me, the chance to work out what style brings out your beauty to allow you to shine like the star of the show on your special day. These trials are essential in my opinion to ensure you are at your most relaxed on the Big day itself safely in the knowledge I will leave you looking a million dollars. The more comfortable and confident you feel the better you will look!
How much experience do you have?
With over 12 years experience in the industry, I started my career in 2009. Over my years of experience, I have worked with hundreds of brides of all ages – with all different skin types, features and understand just how essential it is that the Bride not only looks flawless in real life, but that her beauty transfers over to photographs and film to cherish forever.
What is your go to style of makeup for brides?
My signature Bridal look is flawless skin and a light Bridal glam/glow... Who wants to look like someone else on their wedding day? My job is to make you look like the very best version of yourself.
Is there a limit to the number in the Bridal Party you can do?
Every Bride/Wedding is different, I start my day from 6am and am happy to do up to 8 dependent on the timings for the day.
What brands do you use? will they work for my skin?
I only use the best products on the market and my kit is a reflection of my personal makeup bag. Using a wide range of the best in luxury Makeup and skincare products such as Chanel, Charlotte Tilbury, Tom Ford, Giorgio Armani and many more. I have developed my kit over the years on a trial and error basis and am now 100% confident in every product i use knowing it will stay in place without looking caked on until the following morning (although I would advise my brides try cleanse it off before bed :))
