How much accommodation is at the venue?
In total, the venue has 40 bedrooms, comfortably sleeping up to 92 guests. All of the bedrooms are individually designed and have all the grandeur of a historic house, many of which have 16ft high ceilings and exposed beams in the attic rooms. Many of the bedrooms offer flexible sleeping arrangements with twin or double rooms, as well family suites and ground floor suites. Externally the Garden Wing, Little Lodge and Gate House Lodge offer further space, perfect for groups of family and friends.
Is catering included?
We are a package free venue, with the guiding principle of ‘your stay, your way’. We appreciate everyone will have they own style and personal tastes, which is why we don't include catering and allow you to pick the caterers to suit your event and budget. Of course, we appreciate some couples may want a guiding hand and as such we have a Recommended Supplier list to help with inspiration.
How many guest can be seated for the Wedding Ceremony and Wedding Breakfast?
With indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces there are options to include up to 130 guests. The elegant reception rooms comprising of the Yellow room and Library can accommodate up to 130 guests for a seated meal. There are additional rooms (and further outdoor space) for gathering guests together for your drinks reception, dancing and a bar.
Do we get help with Wedding Planning?
Events at Huntsham Court offer complete flexibility, so whether you want to be hands on or leave all the planning to the professionals, you will find a dedicated team who can answer any questions you may have and help you with sourcing any additional suppliers you may need. Venue hire does include dedicated time with an event planner, but you are free to ask them to assist further where needed.
Can we bring out own drinks?
Yes, and the great news is we are CORKAGE FREE! The bar is hired empty, so you are able to bring as much or as little as you like with you. Many couples relish this opportunity, working with local suppliers to source wines for the meal, beers, spirits, etc. Again, we understand this can be daunting for some couples which is why we can offer you helpful solutions, including suppliers who will take care of the bar for you.
Do you display hire rates and availability on your website?
Yes! We believe in transparency, so couples have access to as much information as possible from their first enquiry. For those who would like to know more, simply get in touch and chat to one of our friendly team members. We can also discuss booking a one to one viewing at the venue to answer all your questions in person, while taking time to tour the venue and grounds.
