If you are getting married in Tenerife you NEED to contact the Licandro team! We cannot recommend them enough. We live in Canada but my parter is originally from Tenerife. When we first got engaged we looked into options in both Toronto and Tenerife but can honestly say the moment we connected with Helen and Juan we just knew they were the right fit. Helen has such a wonderful style to the way she works, so organized, detail oriented and relaxed. From our initial meetings with them, to venue searches, to the planning process and the big day, her and her team took care of everything and helped make the day feel like us. They truly brought our vision to life and it was such a beautiful day. All the details of the day were phenomenal and the vendors they work with as well. The food is outstanding, some of our guests are still bringing it up to us. The floral design was perfect. Helen was so open to all our ideas and helped bring them to life; one being La Hora Loca during the party which was a huge hit among guests. And so many other vendors who helped make our day happen and come together. A special shout out to Juan, a truly amazing photographer that helped make us feel so comfortable in front of the camera as well as capturing so many special moments throughout the day. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend working with them for your wedding!

We came across Licandro’s Wedding website and were so impressed from the start, we reached out straight away. Helen was so helpful right from our first phone call and took the time to answer all our questions and made sure we felt comfortable throughout the planning process. We can safely say we are the most awkward couple to take photos and neither of us would have ever dreamed of being in front of the lens so much. Juan made us feel so comfortable and was such a professional when guiding us through each shoot. He was also such a hit with our guests capturing so many special moments! Absolutely everything, from the ceremony to the food and entertainment, was just spot on, Licandro’s team really nailed it! For days afterwards, our friends and family couldn’t stop raving about how lovely the food was and how gorgeous the whole day turned out. We wanted our young son to be part of the day as much as we could and the team were so understanding, making sure he could join in during the ceremony. Helen was especially great with him before things got started to help getting him settled before his big walk down the aisle, which made us feel so grateful for all the thoughtful touches. From the very beginning Helen and Juan were so welcoming. We had spoken to a couple of different planners but didn’t get that initial buzz. The first call with Helen and Juan we were laughing, completely put at ease and knew they were the ones to plan our wedding. We were initially a bit scared as we are based in Scotland, we were unsure how it would work. Helen was so relaxed throughout the whole planning journey, coped with all our weird and wonderful questions. There was no need to be scared from the minute the first call was done they had everything in hand. The wedding day was incredible, the entire team brought together a vision we had been discussing for over a year. The personal touches that would not have been possible had we gone with another planner. The flowers, the music, the setting and the organisation, out of this world. And the food! People are still speaking about it, incredible. For two people we are terrible in front of a camera and really can’t take themselves seriously trying to pose, Juan was amazing! He talked us through everything, was fun, knew what he was doing and made us feel so confident! The sneak peaks we got on the day blew our minds so can only imagine what the final photos look like! Nothing was too much hassle and they truly made it the most incredible, stress free and fun day. We will never forget it and can not thank Helen, Juan and the entire team enough! Would recommend anyone getting married in Tenerife you can’t have anyone else but Licandro weddings, i’m still getting messages from friends and family saying it was the best wedding they have been to!

Working with Licandro Weddings and Helen & Juan was BY FAR one of the best investments we made for our wedding! I couldn't recommend them enough. We spend a lot of time in Tenerife but live in Barcelona so when we decided to have our wedding there - we knew we wanted some help. I did a lot of research on who to go with, and as soon as we had the first call with Helen and saw Juans photography we knew they were the right fit! They made every part of the planning seamless, fun and just so easy. Helen has a great way of letting you run with your ideas and completely understanding what you want - Even making tweaks to make it better than we could have imagined. They helped us for the Fri pre party, Sat Wedding & Sun pool party and we genuinely couldn't have been more impressed with how they handled everything - all our guests were as amazed as us by them and what they had created! We couldn't fault them, and I'm already wondering if they can plan my husbands 40th haha!

We didn't have to worry about any logistics; everything was handled. All we did was relax and get ready. As the bride, walking down the aisle and seeing the breath-taking setting – exactly as we had envisioned – felt like a fairy tale. It was as if our guests and us were the main characters. The incredible Licandro team worked seamlessly in the background (though some even joined our Sevillana dance, which was such a lovely moment), and there was always someone available if needed. They even surprised us with a second couple's entrance to the dance floor with tunes suggested by our Polish guests, a moment we'll always cherish! Juan is a phenomenal photographer. As a couple who isn't comfortable with photos, we were apprehensive about our photoshoot, but we shouldn't have been. Juan is incredibly creative and professional, yet he felt like a close friend, saying all the right things to put us at ease. He expertly chose the light and moments, setting the scene perfectly. It never felt awkward, and we both felt like supermodels – something we never thought we'd say! Our guests raved about everything: the food, the service, the drinks, the music, and the flowers. For days after the wedding, we received messages saying it was the best wedding they had ever attended! We could continue, there are not enough words, but for anyone considering Licandro Weddings, know that countless couples have had their perfect wedding ideas brought to life by them. We are one of those couples. There isn't a single thing we would change, and we are so grateful we contacted Helen and Juan. We will never forget how both of them and every single beautiful person on their team made us and our guests feel: special, loved, beautiful, and truly magical.

Licandro weddings, where do we begin!! We started working with Helen and Juan approximately a year before our big day in May 2025. From the beginning they were calm and collected and put up our with our Swiss/Canadian need to have everything extremely organized, detail oriented, and methodized. Besides their attention to detail they are an extremely likeable duo that makes you feel warm and at home from the first video calls, to the food tastings, down to the last minutes of your big day. The vendors and team they work with in Tenerife are all incredible! It's easy to feel a bit stressed out in the days leading up to your party, but on the day of we were both able to step back and let it all unfold. The Licandro team were superb at coordinating every part of the day (ceremony, crazy family members, dinner, etc.) and even had a couple of moments where they got the party started (dancing on tables during dinner and a big welcome wave before the dancefloor opened). Juan, photographer, also took some magical shots that we are very grateful for! Memories are important!!! (To any future husbands reading this that think photos might not be that important.. :-)) Overall we would absolutely recommend Licandro weddings. We actually even share the same wedding song as the pair! Thanks again Helen and Juan!
