Testimonials

I couldn’t have asked for more! Nicole took over co-ordinating our wedding and she was just lovely, nothing was too much trouble, she was direct and open and beyond helpful. From the afternoon tea for myself and the bridesmaids the day before, to the main meal (the canapés were just spectacular), to evening pizza and breakfast the next day every bit of food was a delight with my guests telling me they had never had wedding food like it. We even went to their pub on the Sunday for lunch! The bartenders did a margarita bar with a spicy rim just for us and were the loveliest crew, making my dad whatever weird baileys shots he wanted! Every staff member I met was so sweet and helpful. The setting is bohemian rustic, we got married under a tree and there’s an amazing waterfall nearby. It was a dream location! Lula our gorgeous bridesmaid dog was so welcomed (and adored). Not one thing went wrong in the planning, it was all so smooth and easy. If I could give more stars I would. Thank you all so so much!

H & A

We knew Lower House Farm was the place we wanted to get married the first moment we saw it – it’s just the most breath-taking venue you could ever imagine. It was wonderful to have the ceremony under the oak tree and just joyous hearing our guests say what an extraordinary place it was. The food is beyond delicious too – really exciting flavours, served with generosity and style. We might be biased, but we think it was the best food of any wedding we’ve ever been to. Emily and Nicole were fantastically proactive from start to finish. We really felt they were looking out for us and had every little detail covered, including great recommendations for suppliers. It felt so reassuring to know we were in such safe hands. Everyone commented on how friendly and lovely the serving and bar staff were too. Our day was everything we wanted and so much more – and that wouldn’t have happened without Lower House Farm and everyone there.

Great job by Nicole and her team for our wedding. Everything ran smoothly and as planned, while keeping a relaxed feel for everyone. The venue itself is wonderfully understated yet incredibly beautiful, creating a fantastic atmosphere. The main room looked stunning for both the ceremony & reception. Special mention for the food which everyone has been commenting on just how good it was! Thanks for a perfect day, we wouldn't have changed a thing

We got married at Lower House Farm last week and I'm still buzzing from the most fabulous day. The planning process has been smooth and easy and the Wedding Coordinators Emily and Natalie have been nothing but helpful and genuinely thoughtful. The setting is stunning with jaw dropping scenery, and the surroundings and available space ensures that there are loads of options for how you use the space on your day. It means that whatever the weather, there are beautiful spaces for you and your guests. The food is immense - from the canapes, roast Porchetta, pavlova and pizzas - I wish I could eat it all over again! Everyone commented on how fabulous the food was (and all of our food intolerances, allergies and requirements were catered for wonderfully.) The staff were so helpful and kind on the day, friendly and incredibly efficient. It was also the small details that I really noticed; my husband and I were whisked off for photos during the canapes. Natalie, the Wedding Coordinator noticed this and brought us out our own plate of canapes so we had something to eat. So thoughtful! I couldn't have wished for more. It was truly the most special day - thank you to all the staff who made it happen.

Such a beautiful venue! We had the most magical day, we married under the beautiful wooden archway in the outside barn, then had our drinks outside and meal in the stunning inside barn. As we married in November we had fire pits, blankets, sparklers, mulled cider! It was so perfect. All our guests have commented on the incredible food, honestly the best wedding food I've ever tasted and there was so much of it. The staff were phenomenal, very attentive and responsive in the run up to the wedding and on the day. We feel so lucky to have found Lower House Farm and their Wild by Nature weddings. What a day!
