I thought finding a dress was going to be the real challenge, I’d searched for the style I liked and found a lot of dead ends when it came to plus size. I then found Lush Curve, after stalking their Instagram for a while I decided to contact Hannah. I was very nervous for my appointment, I’m not an overly confident person. The second I walked through the door and met Hannah I was instantly put at ease. The little touches made the day so special, the slippers, Prosecco, sweets!! I found my dress!! Throughout the whole process, Hannah was reassuring, empowering and has a great sense of humour!

Ive always said I was never really that bothered about a big fancy wedding dress, but I think that was probably a way of preparing myself for the disappointment and embarrassment of wedding dress shopping I expected as a 6ft1 plus size bride-to-be. I’m sure that’s a feeling plenty can relate to. And if you’re reading this review it may well be you’ve googled ‘plus size wedding dresses in Surrey’ and are trying to work out whether this shop will have dresses that you can try on, and staff that will celebrate you and your figure. Well, it does! And they will! This shop is dreamy and the entire experience from beginning to end was complete joy. The Lush Curve range is beautiful, covers so many styles, and although there was a huge choice I fell for the first dress I tried on!

WOW - This bridal shop is amazing! Hannah is a breath of fresh air and everything you could want in an amazing stylist and she absolutely knows her stuff. Hannah made me feel so comfortable and confident in everything I put on, taking time and care to make sure each dress was perfectly fitted like it was made for me. Lush Curve was absolutely the highlight of all of my dress searching experiences and I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone. They are truly inclusive and listen to help and guide you into making the right decision without any pressure. Honestly just AMAZING !!!!! Thanks for everything :)

Cannot recommend this place more. From the minute you walk in Hannah and her team make you feel so welcome, relaxed and understood. The best thing is you know that every single dress will fit and they are so beautiful. There’s loads of space to move around when you’re getting changed so no getting hot and flustered! Comfy sofa for the bridal party to wait, drink prosecco and chat as well! The dresses are really easy to customise and mix and match which is lovely. If you want sleeves or a different skirt it’s all doable! Hannah just got it straight away, knew what I wanted and there was absolutely no stress or frustration.
