Ben was amazing from start to finish. He was very helpful, flexible and provided many suggestions and ideas for our wedding. The tasting was divine and made us very excited for the actual day. In the lead up to the wedding and on the day, Ben was professional, calm, and friendly making us not worry about a thing. The food was absolutely delicious and guests have since said it was the best wedding food they have eaten. We all thought the cooking on the fire made the experience fun and unusual too. We can’t recommend Ben enough!

We could not believe our luck when we booked Pit and Plate for our wedding. Despite being a very last-minute addition and quite a big gear change in our plans, Ben immediately jumped on board with enthusiasm and a clear passion and understanding for his craft. He immediately understood our brief and worked with us to create the perfect menu, put our minds completely at ease and brought so much excitement for the food being a key part of our day. Despite being chock-a-block with bookings, the communication throughout was second to none, and at every point we witnessed the height of professionalism, attention to detail and attentiveness. What a brilliant team. We had compliments on the food and the service all day, and people are still talking about it now - this food deserves to be remembered! Pit and Plate was the only one of my wedding suppliers that I didn’t have to worry about. The team were like clockwork, and they looked after my guests with complicated dietary requirements incredibly well. The food was great too - many of my guests have said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had, and they’re still talking about the truffle arancini.
