All our gowns are individually made to order by a team of seamstresses here in York, England. This small-scale production means we can always guarantee the exceptional finish of our dresses and achieve artisan quality workmanship with all its divine hand-finished details.
Our brides always comment on how comfortable their gowns are; each unstructured piece is cut to effortlessly flatter the natural figure rather than to fight against it. We’re all about comfort, elegance, and freedom.
We are proud to have no size restrictions on our dresses, so each design is available in any size required.

The most incredible bridal and the most incredible team behind it. Looking for a wedding dress can be stressful and overwhelming, but Hayley and Ellis at Rolling In Roses were the absolute best at putting me at ease and creating my dream dress!
From the offset there is such a personal feel, they really care that you’re there and want to make you feel special. Having the initial appointment with Hayley, the owner and designer, is so special. I absolutely love that it’s such a small team and that they work sustainably and ethically. I have never felt more beautiful or confident in all of my life!
My dress was so so perfect. The moment I put it on I had that ‘this is the one’ moment. The quality and care put into the dress is impeccable. At my dress fitting we collaborated on taking it in at the bust for more support and on the height of the leg split. It felt so nice for Ellis to talk me through her thoughts and allow me to collaborate. It didn’t feel overwhelming in all these decisions I had to make or like Ellis was telling me what to do.
I genuinely cannot recommend them enough. Such a perfect experience, not pushy at all, so kind, such beautiful gowns. Every bride deserves to have this experience. 1000/10!!!

I had the most incredible experience finding and buying my dress from Rolling in Roses. As soon as I found them I knew I wanted to get one of their dresses, although could have happily worn about 6 different ones. Could not recommend them highly enough!
Initially I wasn’t sure about the trek up to York but I’m so glad I made the decision to go and see the full range of dresses and sizes available. The quality of the fabric and cuts was just far ahead of any other designer I’d tried on, and the dresses all felt incredible on, moved beautiful and were super comfy.
The experience of trying on the dresses was still exciting but much more relaxing than the other boutiques I’d visited - I never felt like Ellis was pushing me to buy something, and having a wide range of sizes available in each dress really helped me see what would suit me. Customer service by email was fab, and I got lots of great advice about looking after the dress.
I went for the Nejire (which was my favourite on the website) and absolutely loved it. On the day, I just felt incredible, hardly noticed it was on - apart from all the compliments! Now all I want is to find another reason to wear it…
