Ashleigh and the Saltmarshe team made our wedding day a dream come true. There are so many wonderful things to say we do not know where to begin. From the first moment we walked into Saltmarshe we knew it was the place we would get married and make the most wonderful memories - it is a stunning venue. The gardens, the building, the rooms, the woodlands are all beautiful. Ashleigh was so very lovely and super organised on the run up to the wedding - nothing was too much and no questions went unanswered. It meant that we were stress free and were therefore able to enjoy every single moment. A stress-free bride is very hard to achieve - so amazing work! From our arrival at Saltmarshe on the Thursday afternoon to our departure on the Saturday morning every single member of the Saltmarshe team we encountered were friendly, attentive and well presented! No ask was too much! Many of our guests commented on how wonderful they all were. Ashleigh and Kates efforts on our wedding day were exceptional, particularly on the wedding morning. Their kindness and reassurance that everything was taken care of put us all at complete ease and let us enjoy every moment without worry. They made it run like clockwork - it flowed perfectly! A very tall task with a large wedding party and a lot of guests. The transition from day to evening was seamless - turning a beautiful day into the most amazing celebration! The food was fantastic. The chef and the staff did an amazing job providing such a high standard and catering to the many dietary requirements. They made sure a whole lot of guests were happy with full tummies all day! It was a perfect day - we cannot thank you enough!

Well I’m not sure where to even begin, we got married on 1st September at Saltmarshe Hall from the minute we viewed the venue my eyes filled with tears I knew it was the 1! We will never get over how perfect our day was, Amy and the team couldn’t have done enough for us to make sure our day ran so smoothly I still don’t know how they did it!! We will never be able to thank them all enough, special thank you to Amy our wedding coordinator for helping with the planning (making sure the grooms arrival by helicopter happened) and replying to my 1626929292 emails a day Thank you so much for a day we will never forget, We can’t wait to come back!!

This is the message we left with Ashleigh and wanted to leave publicly too: Dear Ashleigh, a little message to say a huge and loving thank you for your support and advice leading up to the wedding and the hard work and dedication on our special day. You've looked after us every step of the way from the first time we set foot through the door Jan'22 (how is it so long ago?). And on the rare occasion, you weren't available, any other member of staff was so extremely helpful. During meetings to plan our day you already had the answers to the questions we'd jotted down before we even had a chance to ask them - it's at this point not only did we know that the venue with its amazing rooms, grounds and changes that we're coming such as the gorgeous new bar was exactly where we wanted our special day to be, but that we also had that special person to help look after our day and the confidence of knowing we wouldn't have anything to worry about. The special day arrives and you are on it with calmness personified. The day was smooth and seamless thanks to you and your team. We (and our guests who also commented on this with the same words) will never forget that 15 minutes of madness during speeches when the heavens opened and you shifted into 5th gear to ensure 85 people were kept dry....and you got absolutely drenched and kept everything on track. But the biggest compliment I think we can give you is that you made us feel like the first and last wedding you'd have. Like we were all that mattered even though you probably have 2 or 3 + per week. Thank you for making our special day your special day (Thank you also to your staff). It was the most amazing 36 hours of our lives and we just want to do it all over again. It feels surreal to know we won't be chatting to plan our big day with you any longer but anyone else is lucky to be in that position knowing they have you to look after them and hopefully, we can pop by in the near future to see you and say hello.

We got married at Saltmarshe Hall in July 2023 and I am absolutely lost for words on how amazing it was. From booking to the day, everything was absolutely seamless. Ashleigh was our main source of contact and my goodness, this woman is just incredible at her job. She made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. The meetings felt so easy and stress-free. We came away feeling confident that we wouldn’t need to worry about a single thing on the day which was absolutely the case. All the staff here from reception, to waiting, to kitchen, were exceptional we have had so many guests tell us after our day how amazing and accommodating they were for guests of all ages. The venue itself is just stunning, with so many options on where to have the ceremony and photographs. There’s also ample space indoors for guests if the weather isn’t great. The venue is also very well lit, which is perfect if you want lots of natural light in your photographs. The food here is absolutely incredible. I was told as a bride I wouldn’t really eat anything on the day but believe me, I ate every single course. Myself and my husband are veggies and usually vegetarian options and weddings are pretty basic and a bit boring… Saltmarshe has an ENTIRE menu for vegetarian food and it was all unreal. We did not imagine we would be completely stuck for choice when choosing our food options! Thank you so much Ashleigh, Amy and all the staff at Saltmarshe - we have nothing but love for Saltmarshe Hall and you made our day perfect, we will be forever grateful to you all.

As soon as we found Saltmarshe Hall on Hitched, we knew it would be our perfect venue. We wanted a bright and airy reception space, plenty of rooms for family, in-house catering and stunning gardens for drinks and photos - Saltmarshe delivers on all this and so much more. Planning a UK wedding while living abroad was never going to be easy, but Ashleigh and the team took so much of the weight off! Endlessly professional, knowledgeable and organised, every single member of the Saltmarshe staff were incredible through planning and on the weekend itself. The day was perfect, from decoration to food, to staff service and we couldn’t love and recommend Saltmarshe Hall any more. We can’t wait to go back and celebrate an anniversary there!
