How many people can stay on site?
Your booking with us includes a two-night stay in the 17th-century Riding House, as well as The Grooms Cottage; comprised of two Maisonettes that have been refurbished sleeping 4 in each. Additional accommodation is also available in the Pepperpot Lodges and St Giles House bedrooms, meaning 42 guests+ can be accommodated on-site with other local options within walking distance.
What rooms can we get married in?
St Giles House are licensed to hold wedding ceremonies in any of the principal rooms of the house with a capacity of 120 guests. If you're looking for an outdoor ceremony, The Lake Lawn hosts the most remarkable views across the grounds and lake, whilst the 18th-century Grotto, lined with shells brought back from the Caribbean, provides a unique and intimate ceremony location for up to 20 guests. If you're looking for a Church ceremony, St Giles Church is only at the end of the avenue.
When does the wedding end?
Included in your wedding package will be a license until midnight. However, if you wish to dance the night away, late night licenses are available until 2am.
Do we get exclusive use of the house?
The wedding package includes the house being available the day before the wedding between 10am and 4pm for you to come in and set everything up ready for the next day. The exclusive use of St Giles House will be from the morning of your wedding until the end of your wedding day.
