FAQS
What types of arrangements can you provide?
All your personal flowers such as bouquets, buttonholes, hair, and wrist accessories (including cute little items for your pet wedding attendees!). Venue decoration can range from bud vases and flowers for a welcome sign to larger ceremony features that pack a real visual punch. If you aren’t sure where to best use your budget, we can have a chat about where you want the most impact for you and your guests and I can advise how to utilise it best.
Do you have a minimum spend?
For a fresh flower wedding the minimum spend is £500 (which is perfect for mini elopements) and all your flowers will be set up and dropped off at your venue (or where you are getting ready) on your wedding day. The booking process is the same for fresh or dried weddings other than for fresh weddings, you won’t get pictures in advance of the flowers being made due to their perishable nature. There is no minimum spend for a dried flower wedding.
What is the booking process for weddings?
Firstly start by filling in my online enquiry form on my website. Don’t worry if you don’t have all the details, just as much as you can right now, alongside any Pinterest boards or inspo pictures you already have. I shall give you a starting estimate quote based on your enquiry or we can book a quick online chat if more detail is needed so I can give you an accurate as possible quote. I can also advise where to best spend your budget to get the most out of your flowers on the day. If you’d like to go ahead and secure your booking, a 30% deposit of the current total will need to be paid alongside my online contract signed. Once booked in, we shall have our initial online consultation (if we’ve not already had this!) and your own personal mood board with inspo pictures, individual flowers and stems I’d like to use, and descriptions of all arrangements that will be made will be created just for you. This can be amended until you are happy that the board has captured the vibe you are aiming for for the big day. 2 months out from your wedding, I shall be in contact again to see if anything needs amending from the initial booking and go over any final details. 1 month out from your wedding your final bill is due and I shall start creating your flowers if you have dried ones! I always start with the main bouquet and pictures can be sent for your input too. Once happy, the rest of your flower order will be created. For fresh flowers, these are create the day before your wedding. Your flowers are ready for you to collect on a day of your choosing or if fresh, ready to be delivered directly to you and installed and set up at your venue. Party well and long on your big day; the flowers are yours to keep (please see our article on how to look after dried flowers if needed) and I shall return to the venue to break down any floral installations.
How far out should I book my wedding flowers?
Typically, couples have been booking their wedding flowers about 12 months out from their wedding day. The earlier you book the more guaranteed you are to get the suppliers you want to work with. As mentioned previously, you can book in for the floral items you DEFINITELY want and as you go through your wedding planning process, refine the colours and look later down the line.
