The staff were particularly brilliant, incredibly calm and efficient without being intrusive at any point. Huge thanks to Emma, Kat and the whole team for making it so special. The food was amazing, with our guests genuinely surprised at the quality (and quantity!) The drinks were delicious with the bar staff really helpful and quick to serve. The decor was outstanding too. We had the most amazing wedding day at The Mowbray, after a beautiful ceremony at sister venue The Chimney House. The communication was flawless in the run up and we felt in such good hands. The staff on the day were absolutely brilliant, they looked after us and our guests so well and somehow made it look easy. The food was delicious and a big reason we chose this venue - so many of our guests said it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding! You do have to use their (brilliant!) chefs for evening snacks as well as the feast, which is considerably more expensive than getting e.g. a pizza van. Having said that, they work hard to accommodate any personal requests. If you're looking for a stunning, romantic venue with a team that genuinely cares then we can't recommend The Mowbray highly enough.

We headed over to the Victoria for our meal and reception. This place is something else! Again, it's so beautifully decorated! There is a rustic feel, gorgeous artwork on the walls, even the toilets look really cool. The whole place is very accessible, which is something that was important to us. The bar was also incredibly well stocked and catered to all of our guests preferences really well. The food was to die for, and is something our guests are still raving about. One thing that initially attracted us to the menu was the use of local produce and suppliers. The banquet style delivery of the meal worked really well, and everything tasted brilliant. The attention to detail was phenomenal! The team are very accommodating, we asked for an adjustment to the menu and they didn't hesitate. Overall, the team are happy to help with anything they can. All of the staff, from the planning team to the bartenders were brilliant! We really could not be happier with how our day went and couldn't recommend the Chimney House and the Victoria enough!

We were so glad we chose to have our wedding at Victoria! We'd always wanted to get married somewhere full of character and history that was local to us and Victoria was the perfect choice! Our guests are still talking about how amazing the venue, food and staff were and what a brilliant time they had! We planned our wedding within six months, having first viewed Victoria before it was even fully finished as a wedding venue — we fell in love with it the moment we walked through the doors. It had the atmosphere, beautiful styling, and ethos we were looking for, so choosing Victoria was an easy decision. From the very beginning, Lucy and the team were so helpful! Always available to answer any questions or queries - we truly felt in good hands, which made the lead-up to our wedding day completely stress-free. On the day itself, our ceremony in The Chapel felt really special - knowing it was previously a working chapel gave the space a real sense of history and meaning, making the moment even more memorable. Food to us was very important! The wedding 'feast' didn't disappoint - it was delicious! Everyone of our guests, even the fussy eaters, commented on how great the food was, 'the best I've eaten at a wedding'.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience with the team at Victoria... Everything and everyone was perfect, from start to finish of the whole process we felt completely relaxed and knew everything was being taken care of. We were able to customise the day with ease. Everything felt like it was there for us. We were able to use the team's expert knowledge to plan the day and the food! It's really difficult to put into words how perfect the day was and how much of that was down to everyone at the Victoria. Everything just looked amazing, it felt cool and unique. So many guests have commented on how great the venue, the food and the drinks were. I think what's most impressive is how the day felt completely like it had our stamp on it, and guests commented how much it reflected us as a couple, yet we both didn't feel the effort required to make that happen. We could just share our thoughts and the magic was made by the team.

We honestly cannot put into words just how magical our wedding day was at The Victoria. We chose September hoping for lovely weather, and even though it rained, it didn’t spoil a single thing. In fact, it made the day feel even more cosy and magical. The Victoria caters perfectly for both, it has a beautiful outdoor space for sunshine, but also such a warm, intimate indoor setting that felt so inviting when the rain came. From the food (which our guests are still raving about, especially the Basque cheesecake!) to the incredible atmosphere, everything was better than we could have imagined. The team made the day run seamlessly, and we honestly felt so well looked after from start to finish. It’s a day we’ll treasure forever, and we couldn’t recommend The Victoria more highly to any couple looking for the perfect wedding venue.

We recently held our wedding at this beautiful new venue, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how everything turned out! We were a bit apprehensive about choosing a new venue, but Lucy, Emma and Cat completely put our minds at ease. They were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the day, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The venue itself was stunning, and every detail was taken care of. Our guests felt so welcomed and comfortable. The food was served in a sharing style and the vibe was relaxed which was so important to us. Special mention for the cheesecake – it was delicious, and a huge hit with everyone! Victoria exceeded all of our expectations. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we’re so glad we took the leap with this place. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and alternative location for their wedding!

Well, what a party this venue can throw; we had an absolute blast! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience at Victoria. The venue was absolutely stunning and is a beautiful blend of vintage charm and modern elegance. With its carefully repurposed furniture and thoughtfully designed spaces, were a joy to celebrate in. The food was truly impeccable. Every dish was not only delicious but beautifully presented. Our guests gave us multiple compliments on the food and one said it was the best basque cheesecake he'd ever eaten. We couldn't have asked for better! As a gay couple, we felt welcomed and respected every step of the way. The team at Victoria made us feel comfortable, celebrated, and supported throughout the entire process, which made all the difference for us. Special shout out to Hope and Cat who supported us on the day and a thank you to both Lucy's, who supported the planning. Throughout the whole process, the staff were professional, kind, and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. From Lucy answering our many questions in the build up, to Sal with her expert styling, and to Cat, Emma and Ro making sure everything went according to plan on the day. We got married at the Victoria and we could not recommend it more. We first visited the venue back when it was still somewhat a building site, but just knew already that it was where we wanted to have our wedding. It has been renovated and transformed into the most beautiful venue and was perfect for what we were looking for (we only looked here and the Mowbray!). From the start of planning to the actual day, the team have been outstanding; they were attentive, answered any panicky questions we had and were just incredibly lovely to deal with. The day itself was the absolute best day of our lives and was made so by everyone involved in organizing it, we didn’t have to do a thing on the day and were able to relax just knowing that they had everything covered. A big factor in choosing the venue (other than it being STUNNING) was the food; we’d both heard such good things and as massive foodies, we knew we wanted something special. We were blown away by it. From mingling in the courtyard being able to smell the food cooking from the firepit, to watching our loved ones tucking into the amazing feast – we couldn’t fault it. Everyone was raving on the day and has been ever since about the whole day. We could get engaged and plan a wedding all over again and every single time we’d pick the Victoria

We don’t know where to start, the whole day was just incredible. All of the staff at Victoria were amazing and made us feel so welcome and comfortable, from joining in with the bridesmaids meditations at the start to bringing us endless margaritas! We couldn’t have asked for anything more, we felt so special. Thank you for making our dream a reality- big thank you for the incredible food! It was definitely a talking point of the wedding. The whole day was magic!

It could not have been better, or more perfect. We were in awe of how capable the team are - nothing was ever an issue and they predicted our needs before we had even realised them. Truly the least stressful a wedding could be - and we had endless compliments on the venue and staff and food all day from our congregation. What an amazing venue to hold our special day. The staff were absolutely brilliant throughout. The day was filled with lots of laughs, love, food and drinking. We could not have asked for a better day!

It was genuinely phenomenal. Maddy and the team were exceptional and almost everything went perfectly!!! I actually don’t remember really worrying about much on the day at all. Everyone has said it was the best wedding they’d ever been to! From the way the room was set up for the ceremony to the OUT OF THIS WORLD food I genuinely can’t thank you enough. The Pavs were my personal favorite! The team on the day were really communicative and helpful, especially when each person was finishing their shift and came to make sure we knew who to go to in case there were any issues. They were our rockstars and stand outs of this entire experience. The venue and experience were fantastic but it is their care and attention to detail that really set the experience apart.

Honestly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you all. From all the behind the scenes and the build up, to on the day, to after helping pack up. You’ve all been incredible, the bar team, the chefs, the staff on the day, everyone was just amazing. They were on it, I didn’t want for anything at all. It was set up to perfection, the drinks were amazing, the food is the best wedding food I’ve ever had. EVER!! I literally loved every second, the Victoria was my perfect wedding venue, it was my dream, we had our dream wedding, so thank you for it all. From winning the competition, I knew it would be the best wedding ever.

The Victoria and the events team were absolutely fantastic throughout our wedding planning process; every single person we interacted with was extremely helpful, friendly, and made the whole process so much easier than we thought it was going to be. Then, on the day, everything ran smoothly, and the venue itself was so stunning and utterly perfect. We had the most amazing celebration, and every guest commented on the quality of the food as well as the beautiful and unique location. We highly recommend the venue and the team for any event. Our Wedding Day was a truly wonderful day. We started our day at the Victoria and ended it at The Mowbray. Normally weddings don't always go to plan. Ours did. The staff were amazing. They were really organised, really attentive and made us feel special. Our day ran smoothly from start to finish. We wanted our wedding day not to be a show; we wanted our day to have a relaxed vibe. Victoria and The Mowbray both helped with this. I haven't got much to say because I cannot fault our day. It was a truly wonderful day. I 100% recommend these venues for weddings. They are unique, rustic and beautiful inside. A day to remember. Myself and Scott can't thank you enough.

From the moment we first visited Victoria in 2024, we knew it was exactly the type of wedding venue we were looking for. At the time it was still very much a work in progress (as it was still being built!) but having previously visited and loved The Chimney House and The Mowbray, we had complete confidence in the vision. Seeing it all come together on our wedding day exceeded every expectation we had. We honestly had the most perfect day from start to finish. Emma and the entire team were incredible throughout, so attentive, organised and calm, and everything ran so smoothly which is clearly down to all of their hard work behind the scenes both before and during the day itself. The venue looked absolutely stunning and so many of our guests commented on how unique and amazing the space was. The food also deserves a special mention because it was genuinely unbelievable. We’ve had countless comments from guests saying it was some of the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding, which says everything really. We’re so grateful to everyone at The Victoria for making our day feel so effortless and memorable. It was everything we hoped for and more, and we honestly couldn’t imagine having celebrated anywhere else.

We really did have the wedding of our dreams! From start to finish the day was just perfect. We booked Victoria when it was still mid-renovation but we just knew the team behind the Mowbray would be creating another incredible venue … and it was! From the moment we booked everything was just so easy - from the initial planning meeting, answering questions and helping with logistics in the build up and then everything on the day. The team made it look so easy - nothing was too big of an ask and everything ran so smoothly. We didn’t think about anything on the day apart from having a good time! It all started on the summer solstice 2025... We'd been desperate to visit The Victoria after seeing pictures and hearing how good the food was. We went to a supper club, realised that the food was indeed, outrageously good, and immediately asked if they did weddings. We weren't even engaged. The Victoria was everything we could have wished for and more. Upstairs, the chapel is airy and romantic, decorated with a sea of single stem flowers and elegant candles - it captures the light in such a magical way, giving it all an almost otherworldly beauty. Downstairs the bar is modern and slick, harnessing that 'industry meets nature' feel that we love about Sheffield. It also makes an incredible dancefloor - enough space to party, while never needing to leave the fun to stay hydrated. The addition of the vintage photobooth is also perfect; there's something delightfully comical about trying to fit a full wedding dress in there alongside anyone else. Everyone we spoke to about The Victoria gave us glowing reviews, from friends to our wedding vendors. They were absolutely right - the whole experience, from planning to the big day, was incredible. The staff are so friendly while being absolute pros at what they do. The day felt flawless and effortless, despite knowing how much hard work was going on to make it so. So many people told us it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding, and even the best wedding they'd been to. We genuinely had the best day of our lives, and are so indescribably grateful to all of the team. And now, as part of The Victoria's wedding club, we get to enjoy those feelings whenever we go back to visit (we're already booked in for another supper club!!)

An incredible venue in the heart of the city, with amazing food and a fantastic team behind the curtain. When we set out planning our wedding, we wanted to create a day that our family and friends would remember - and Victoria delivered that for us. After initially booking our ceremony at The Chimney House, we visited Victoria on its first ever open day and instantly fell in love with it. The venue's decor absolutely matched our taste, meaning it needed no styling at all. The staff at Victoria are all so passionate about their job and nothing ever seemed too much hassle. Emma, Lucy & Lucy seemed like an extension to our wedding party, and we couldn't be more grateful for their support throughout the entire process. We've also got to give a special mention to the chefs at Victoria, as the food they create there is nothing short of outstanding. Our guests didn't stop talking about the food all night! We both want to thank the entire team at Victoria for helping make our day utterly incredible - we can't wait to come back for more feast nights and drinks.
