FAQS
What Does Wolf & Raven Mean?
Wolves & Ravens have a very unique relationship. Among the Norse, to see a wolf and raven together was considered good luck, and a good omen for success in an upcoming battle. In the wild they share a symbiotic relationship, which means they both benefit from what they give to each other. The raven and the wolf coexist with a certain sense of harmony and understanding, while the predator provides scavenging opportunities for the bird, and the bird may be welcome company on the coldest of nights. So, what better omen to invest in for your upcoming journey, right?
Do You Travel?
YES. One of my fave things to do is travel country and worldwide capturing all of your gorgeous wedding days!
What is Your Shooting Style?
With a documentary styled approach, I aim to capture the day as authentically as possible. I want images that are truly representative of you both. I do not overly pose or pressure my couples, I want you to feel relaxed and really enjoy these moments - and I want that to show in the end results. I like to take you away for approx 30 mins (more or less as desired, but 30 mins gives us a great window to capture a couple dozen fantastic portrait shots), this will generally be straight after the ceremony to capture some shos of you and your new spouse. I will offer you “prompts” rather than meticulous direction with an uptight approach. I will ask you both to do something (I do not like to give to many examples away, as I dont want you to overthink anything), but one example would be - “walk towards me fast, whilst linking arms and looking at each other”. I find by offering direction like this (among others), my images are filled with life, laughter, movement and authenticity. I will get to know you both and figure out what youre comfortable with and whether you love or loathe a bit of PDA (I personally am the latter), and I will fully communicate with you both in order for your gallery to be 100% representative of you as a couple. I want you to enjoy having these pictures taken and not feel anxious about it one bit. Aside from your couple portraits, I like to be a little fly on the wall the rest of the day, sneaking around and capturing everything as it unfolds, there is no moment too big or little. Your gallery will be an intentional mixture of slightly different edits, to give your album variety. I find this is great if most of your photos are taken in the same place. This enables you to pick and chose which photos you might put up in your living room, or post on social media, or give to grandparents. This is an intentional creative choice to give your album as much life and dimension as possible!
