Birdsall House offers a range of luxury and exclusive spaces for your wedding celebrations in North Yorkshire. Whether you are looking for a small, intimate wedding in the Little Temple or an extravagant banquet in the Ballroom, we go the extra mile to create the perfect day for you as a couple. We have also recently renovated our Victorian Kitchens into an 1920's style exclusive event space for up to 200 with its own private bar and dance floor. With exclusive use of the house and gardens you can ensure you will have total privacy surrounded by stunning interiors and scenery. Our events team work closely with you to achieve a day you will remember for the rest of your lives.

Wedding Showcase with Private Tour

Visit us on Sunday 2nd February to see the Ballroom, Dining Room and more dressed for a wedding. Explore the grounds and the various ceremony locations, peak inside our contemporary and elegant bedrooms, and chat about your plans. We like to keep the house roomy and spacious so you can get a real feel for it, so there are no suppliers, simply an opportunity to see how you might style the house for your own special day. It also means you’re not too overwhelmed with businesses! So the rooms don't become overcrowded we also request that you book a half-hour tour with Lady Cara Willoughby or our Events Co-ordinator, Harriet. We'll welcome you and your fiance, friends or family with a glass of bubbles on arrival, before showing you around and ending with tea or coffee in The Old Kitchens.

Only hosting ten dedicated weddings per year, each wedding is exclusive - use so your day or weekend is yours and yours alone. 2024 saw the launch of The Old Kitchens, a complete renovation of the basement floor into a state of the art events space with a speakeasy feel, perfect for your evening reception - all the best parties happen in the kitchen!
