Our venue hire includes everything that every wedding needs up to the point where you start to make it individual through your choice of decoration, food, drink, entertainment - so we include dining furniture, cake stand, a fully fitted catering kitchen, luxury loos, heating, amazing event lighting, sound systems, mics for speeches, a fully fitted bar, staging for your band, and a beautiful vintage disco ball! We also have stunning external lighting with floodlit trees, festoon lighting, fairy lights right around the Byre itself. Most weddings at Inchyra run over three days but we also offer one day midweek bookings. With options from one day to a premium three day weekend, there's something at Inchyra to suit a wide range of budgets. We've made sure the Byre is a pretty push-button venue, ready and waiting for you to come in and weave some magic!
Yes you can! From the intimate and chapel-like Stable Room which can seat up to 110 guests to see you say ‘I do’, enveloped in the wooden beams and old brick and stone walls of the original stables. Or, if you have more guests, you can let your imagination run riot in the Lower Byre area where a wealth of possible settings are available for larger ceremonies. Or maybe take the ceremony outside to one of the many options we can offer - perhaps on the Byre Lawn, maybe the sweeping lawn in front of Inchyra House itself, or the magical Walled Garden with the fabulously romantic Apple Tree Aisle. We are also lucky to have two village churches within walking distance of the Byre . The choice is yours.
At the Byre we are delighted to have three cottages along with our stunning Stable Yard Wedding Suite located on the Estate, sleeping a total of 22 guests. Each cottage is available to hire for 1 or 2 nights and are each beautifully decorated, all fully equipped for self catering. For lovers of the outdoors we also onsite camping with access to loos and a power shower.
The Byre is extremely comfortable for a ceremony, reception and wedding breakfast of up to 160 guests. Additional guests in the evening can be accommodated up to 200.
Food and catering are a huge part of a wedding and we strongly believe a caterer should not be operating at a venue for the first time on your special day, because this we give our couples the choice of our 6 approved caterers to chose from.
Our wedding at the Byre at Inchyra was everything we wanted it to be. The Byre is in a perfect setting and is a blank canvas with options that allow you to create exactly what you want. Tim was brilliant in helping us plan, allowing us to visit often, answering all of our questions and explaining so many things that we hadn't even thought of. All of which gave us a day that was exactly what we dreamed of. His experience, professionalism and personality before and on the day itself meant the day ran perfectly allowing us and our guests to enjoy ourselves and have simply the best day.
