The most magical day We got married on 7/10/22 at Upton Barn and what an amazing day it was! We didn't need to view anywhere else once we saw Upton, it was just perfect. It wouldn't have been possible without the help of all the team at Upton, but especially Kaleigh. She really makes you feel like you have a friend, she's incredibly helpful and so so lovely! You can tell she cares for all her couples. The venue already looks beautiful without decor but Kaleigh and her team decorated it with everything we gave them and it made it absolutely perfect for us, We had so many people say how lovely and accomodating everyone was. I would highly recommend getting ready in the Paddock the morning of your wedding, it has everything you need and it's just gorgeous! I'm so sad the day is over but glad that we chose Upton to be the place we got married. Thank you so so much.

BEST venue ever!! Finding Upton Barn and Walled Garden was the best decision we made for our wedding. We wanted a space that was equally beautiful inside as well as out, and it surpassed our expectations. Having always dreamt of an outdoor wedding, however, with the English weather being unpredictable we wanted a space inside that would be equally as stunning. We emailed Upton Barn and Walled Garden and booked in a viewing, we already knew we loved it as their 360 video tour on the website was incredible (especially as we don't live locally). We arrived and Harry gave us a private tour and we instantly knew it was perfect, every aspect of the venue is beautiful and so well thought out. Each space flows so well together, from the ceremony to the cider barn and the bars and tack room, it's just perfect in every way. As we had a small wedding the venue and the different spaces allowed our guests to spread out, but never too far to make it feel empty. Each room is perfectly laid out and Harry and Phil helped us create the wedding of our dreams. Harry and Phil deserve a shout-out for being the best wedding coordinators ever, to match the outstanding venue. Harry's communication was marvellous from the initial planning stages until the day itself, especially as she was always so positive and encouraging. On the day itself, both Harry and Phil worked so hard to create a perfect day. Everything ran super smoothly (entirely down to them) and we just can't thank them or recommend them enough. We had no stress at all in the run up to the wedding knowing that Harry had contacted all our suppliers and confirmed every last detail, this was so reassuring and gave us all the confidence that we had nothing to think about or worry about on the day. Harry and Phil took care of everything. There will never be enough words to say how eternally grateful we are to all the staff at Upton Barn and Walled Garden, and especially Harry for helping us plan and execute a wedding day that surpassed our dreams. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We got married at Upton Barn on the 1st of April 2023. We had the most incredible experience for our wedding. The team couldn't do enough for us. When we had our planning meeting with Harry we knew we were in good hands, as she had thought of every tiny detail, and worked with us to make sure everything was perfect. On the day everything went so smoothly and the team thought of everything. The venue itself is stunning and exactly what we were looking for. Thankfully the weather was good later in the day and we managed to get outside into the beautiful gardens and grounds for some pictures. Although we weren't able to get married outside due to a wet start to the day, getting married inside was just as perfect, and the team had decorated the room exactly how we wanted it to be. We can't thank the team enough for such a beautiful day and highly recommend Upton Barn to anyone wishing to get married in Devon.

Amazing, incredible experience. We got married on 3/12/22, it was literally the only venue we viewed because we knew nothing would top it. The team at UB&WG were so attentive, helpful, professional, and supportive which made the entire wedding from planning to partying entirely effortless and stress-free. We were so grateful to have the expertise of Kaliegh and Natalie on hand to provide insight and advice when needed. During the planning stages the team were communicative and responsive. Emails were sent and answered in a timely manner and all fee information & expectations were presented to us from the outset, no hidden costs and a clear timeline of when things needed to be organised. On the day of the wedding, everything was organised and decorated exactly to our specifications, the team guided us through every step of the day and also made sure we were well looked after. As a bride, I felt not a single ounce of concern about anything regarding the venue or the team. Thanks to them the day was perfect. Furthermore, we have had lots of comments from our guests since the day, expressing how lovely the venue was, and it truly is beautiful. A big thank you to the team at Upton Barn, you really made our day amazing. I would HIGHLY recommend the venue.

Beautiful countryside venue We held our wedding here in September 2022, but were sold on Upton Barn and Walled Garden when we walked through the gate into the gardens during our initial tour back in May 2021. We were looking for exclusive use of a venue with a variety of different spaces to be used throughout the day and this is exactly what Upton can offer. The gardens are stunning and beautifully managed, and the terrace, Cider Barn, Stable Barn and Press Bar can be used for drinks, eating, ceremony or dancing. Kayliegh and the team are super friendly, responsive in emails and always there to lend a hand - our day was seamless from start to finish. Even better - the team set up and take down your decorations for you, so the stress of decoration is completely taken away; just drop off a box of decs and a couple of instructions the day before - absolute bliss. Upton Barn and Walled Garden is easy to get to from the main roads which was helpful for our guests arriving from further afield, and the venue itself is well signposted and access throughout is excellent. We simply cannot recommend Upton Barn and Walled Garden enough - our day was perfect and they helped us manage that!

A dream come true ❤️ It has taken us longer than expected to write this review as neither of us could find the words to describe how perfect our day was! From the moment we arrived at Upton Barn, we knew it was something special, but we never could have imagined just how magical our wedding day would turn out to be. The team at Upton Barn went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, from coordinating with our vendors to anticipating little details we hadn’t even thought of. Georgia was simply incredible throughout the whole planning process- nothing was too much. Having Georgia and Carla on the day, embracing all the madness and ensuring we all had the best time surpassed all our expectations and I don’t think we will ever be able to thank you enough. The kindness and professionalism the whole team showed us made us feel completely at ease, and it truly felt like they cared as much about our day as we did. Our guests are still talking about how stunning the venue was and they’re not wrong. It truly is a beautiful place. As the evening rolled around and the lights twinkled across the reception space and the sparklers came out, we looked around and felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude. It was us, it was pure love, and it was exactly how we had always hoped it would feel. We’ll cherish the memories we made here for the rest of our lives. A Magical Day Made Perfect by Upton Barn & Walled Garden We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue than Upton Barn & Walled Garden. The restored barn set in the stunning walled garden, with its charming stables, provided the perfect backdrop for our day. The décor is simple, classy, and beautiful, meaning we didn’t need to add lots of extra decorations — it felt elegant without any effort. The Stable Barn, where we had our wedding breakfast, is spacious without ever feeling overwhelming, and the massive window created the perfect light for photos before our meal. The walled garden allowed us to have the outdoor ceremony we had always dreamed of, creating a truly magical setting. The Paddock, the venue’s getting-ready area, was modern, classy, and had absolutely everything we could need. The team were brilliant in helping organise two brides getting ready separately so we didn’t see each other before the ceremony — it all went smoothly thanks to their support. The staff went above and beyond to make the day perfect. Carla and Georgia were amazing, even though it was Carla’s first wedding at the venue! They helped everything flow effortlessly, calmed nerves, and even convinced my nephew to walk down the aisle (!!). They made us feel like family from start to finish and were so happy to accommodate multiple viewings for family members — nothing was ever too much trouble. We also found the team incredibly responsive and professional, and their support made our day feel completely stress-free. If you’re looking for a venue that combines stunning surroundings, elegant simplicity, and genuinely wonderful people, Upton Barn & Walled Garden is it!

The perfect venue ❤️ Upton barn was the most perfect venue for our big day! The setting and the staff were incredible and it couldn’t have gone smoother. The most magical wedding venue 🤩 Our wedding day was absolute perfection – every detail was beyond our expectations and we couldn’t be happier. The Walled Garden was simply breathtaking – such a magical setting for our ceremony. The Stable Barn for the wedding breakfast was spectacular. It’s not just about the aesthetics though - the ambience is just dreamy, creating the perfect setting for a wholesome, fun, fairytale wedding day! I live abroad so organising a wedding from afar could have been so difficult but Georgia and the team were so organised, professional, and communicative throughout the whole process. Everything was always clear and upfront – no hidden costs or surprises – which made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. We cannot recommend Upton Barn & Walled Garden enough!

Outstanding venue What a venue and what a team of wonderful people! Everything from the minute we visited Upton the first time, until we picked up our decor the day after the wedding was absolutely seamless. Special thanks to Georgia for all her support. Communication was proactive and friendly, no query was too much, and the team went above and beyond organising things we hadn’t even considered. Integration with suppliers was fantastic, getting ready space and accommodation was wonderful. We would recommend Upton Barn a hundred times over.
