Inspiration

When life gives you lemons, use them as wedding decor! Or that's how we think the saying should go anyway. Using white wedding flowers with eucalyptus to keep things very classic, Amy & Alex chose an Italian-style wedding. So, naturally, this required a bunch of lemon decor and plenty of green foliage. After spending time travelling in Italy after their engagement, the couple based their entire day on all things Italian. Not forgetting Amy's beautiful Maggie Sottero wedding dress. Captured by Recommended photographer, Beth Beresford Photography, this day looks so pretty and elegant.

The whole day was absolutely incredible. The venue looked after us so well. We had such a great time dancing that the evening food we’d painstakingly chosen was completely forgotten and by midnight we were starving. It was the best thing ever to find the venue had packed up some food and left it in our accommodation! Also, my dress was a DREAM! I felt so beautiful in it. Unfortunately, it did not look that white at the end though!

White Wedding Flowers with Eucalyptus

Amy & Alex's classic wedding day had few to no florals besides the stunning white wedding flowers with eucalyptus wedding bouquet. Instead, it was all about the greenery and the citrus! The colour scheme was full of earthy tones and refreshing sage green to go with that fresh Italian feel. The bride also wore a simple but chic Maggie Sottero wedding dress that added to all the elegant traditional vibes.

Classic Wedding with Italian Vibes

The couple chose a venue renowned for its menu. Being an Italian-style wedding, it obviously had to have outstanding food! Decorated with plenty of fairy lights added to the cosy Italian family feel. Ever since the couple travelled around Italy a few years back, just after they got engaged, they have simply adored the country. It was an easy choice for them and to keep in with the theme, they chose olive oil wedding favours in cute little glass bottles.

A lace wedding dress is always going to level up the elegance of any wedding!

I would not sweat the ‘little stuff'. Honestly, we didn’t pay a single bit of attention to anything other than the people who were there! Also, keeping it smaller meant we spoke to all our guests frequently and didn’t feel like we had missed anyone, but also didn’t feel we’d spent the whole day greeting people!
