A little while ago we told you guys about the lovely Emily Quintons fundraising idea for the Help Haiti appeal. On Valentines day Emily set off with her camera into London to do a full day of portrait shooting with various couples, with all the donations for her time going towards the Help Haiti appeal.
Knowing what stunning images Emily produces and the style of her work I was really excited to see them and the images really don’t disappoint so I thought we could share them all with you today. A huge well done to Emily for giving up her time for a good cause and also for being a lifesaver
I’m pretty sure the couples involved will be purchasing some images from their shoots and raising yet more funds – well done to everyone who took part!
And without further ado, here are the images…

Props = Instant Cool
Emily also told me a little bit about the props used in the shoot…
Props make great photographs and are also a really quick way to help people to feel relaxed in a photo shoot. If they have a prop, they are concentrating on the prop more than the camera. They can also be fun and make people naturally laugh. And sunglasses work a treat for giving people instant confidence – something to do with not being able to see their eyes perhaps? Or that sunglasses just make you feel cool!

As you all know, we are huge fans of a prop here at Rock My Wedding, and I hope that those of you reading this and planning your own engagement shoots or in fact some on the day fun shots will get loads of inspiration.
Thanks so much to Emily for sharing your work with us,
Yours oh so very Valentines truly,
Rebecca
