2017 Bridal Collection from Jenny Packham

Jenny Packham is a name in the Bridal (and fashion) world that is synonymous with elegant and glamorous statement dresses. Many, many Brides know that they will be a 'Jenny Packham' Bride, often before they've even become engaged! And is it any wonder when the designer produces collection after collection of stunning gowns like these?! Following last years Midsummer Night's Dream inspired collection, which saw a bohemian twist to Jenny's classic heavily embellished, elegant silhouetted evening-wear style gowns, we were very excited to see what 2017 was going to bring...and our mouths dropped when we saw the latest designs - they are simply stunning. Charlotte shared a sneak peak of the 'Dixie' gown on our Instagram feed over the weekend and I think it's fair to say the response was pretty positive ;) The 2017 collection is once again full of show-stoppers - usually in a new collection from a Bridal designer, there are a few gowns that steal the show, but in this case EVERY single gown is head-turningly, heart-stoppingly beautiful. If I was choosing between Jenny Packham gowns from the 2017 collection, I honestly don't know where I'd start! Come and take a look, and prepare to swoon...

The 2017 Bridal Collection

The inspiration behind the 2017 Bridal Collection, debuted at New York Bridal Fashion Week with an intimate Barn Dance themed presentation, is a wild party set on the plains of the Midwest, a hazy glow of wood smoke in the air and silver stars twinkling above in an ebony black sky. Given the rise in popularity of informal tipi and stretch tent wedding receptions, where the party goes on until dawn, we think this collection is going to be a huge hit! The 2017 Jenny Packham bride is a modern romantic with a wanderlust soul (anyone else thinking 'that's me! That's me!!') and the gowns utilise palettes of hazy barley, soft petal pink and springtime celadon green with adorned ethereal sleeves, glitter flock tulle trains, twinkling beaded lace and cascading tiered skirts reflecting a gypsy spirit. All in all, this collection is just perfect - classic Jenny Packham shapes, stylish detailing but with a crowd pleasing level of prettiness.
