Authentic Festival Weddings
Lucy the Stylist: Pure rock ‘n’roll – this wedding inspiration is for the wild, party loving, free spirits who just want to have fun – alongside a whole field full of friends. Making the most of the great outdoors but with a high-end style, projecting the unique atmosphere of the venue was the vision for this shoot – portraying the high energy, excitement and exhilaration of festival weddings at The Wyldes. Nestled in a lush wooded valley in North Cornwall, Weddings in The Wyldes offers a truly authentic wedding festival experience. Home of the legendary Leopallooza festival, this magical site has hosted parties and performers including Bastille, Rag ’n’ Bone Man, Thom Yorke and Seasick Steve.
Rock’n’roll Wedding Style
Playing homage to the rock’n’roll heritage, the theme of this shoot was eclectic and edgy, dark and decadent but all about the party. Tablescapes abundant with foliage and romantic florals contrasted with crystal skulls, black candles and curios – all seemingly thrown together in an effortless fashion. Vintage elements run throughout from tableware to the 70’s inspired oversize macramé backdrops. The stunning centrepiece cake with dark cracked effect and gilt edging with rich, velvety floral accents embodies the entire look. The bride shone onstage in romantic lace, show-stopping sequins and tulle accessorised with skull rings, gold boots, vintage leathers and cowboy hats. The groom played it classically cool, teaming his sharp suit with pointy Chelsea boots and shades.Full Festival Experience
From backstage to dancing on the bar; food trucks to true romance amongst the trees...oh there is magic in the trees at the Wyldes. The couple had a ball and got to party amongst the guests with celebratory stage dive and crowd surf. Of course there was the after party, complete with a fire pit housed in a vintage Mercedes with the merriment and mayhem continuing until the sun came up. As the guests wandered back to their glamping and alfresco hot tubs, perfect for hangovers, the couple helicoptered out of their very own wedding festival.
