Inspiration

Where oh where to begin with this wedding? From the stunning Bali wedding venue, littered with pink petals, tropical flower installations and hanging lights to the equally beautiful bride and her dashing groom! A tropical outdoor ceremony with an aisle completely covered in petals and a floral moon gate as the backdrop to the "I Do's". And as the sun went down the reception was lit up with hanging lights that were entwined in the beautiful hanging floral installation. After taking the plunge, putting their posessions in storage and going travelling with each other, the couple fell in love with Bali and knew it was the only place for them to get married...we can definitely see why!

What Made Our Day Unique

Two years into our relationship, we put our stuff in storage and went travelling around the world together. We thought if we could survive a year on the road, we could probably manage marriage. From the wilds of the Serengeti to the Australian Outback, we saw it all - and Bali was our favorite place. To be able to bring all our the people who matter most to us - our friends and family - to our magical corner of the world, and to watch them all fall in love with Bali meant so much to us.

Bali Wedding Venue

This Bali wedding venue was covered in pops of fuscia and red! Not only the petals down the aisle and the floral moon gate but the reception area looked incredible with the hanging installation. With Indian backgrounds the couple wanted to bring the colourful traditions from their culture to this Bali celebration. The bride wore a lace off the shoulder dress which she later changed into a different dress that her new husband had picked out for her, a man with good taste! The bridesmaids wore emerald green dresses that looked stunning against the tropical foliage and floral backdrop.

Inspiration & Styling

Bright, bohemian, wonderland! We are both of Indian background and wanted to bring the colorful ethos of our culture to our wedding. From the gold lanterns to the bright pops of fuchsia and red, we wove in our traditional Indian elements with the Balinese atmosphere. Bali has always felt like a magical place to us—a wonderland—so we wanted to recreate that magic for our guests as this was the first time most of them had been to Bali. Our theme was “where the jungle meets the sea”—recreating the lush jungles of Indonesia with the ocean-front venue. It was supposed to feel like fairies had just deserted the place moments earlier, and we captured that whimsy with tables in the bushes that had a slice of cake, a glass of champagne and a note that said "Eat Me" and "Drink Me", tepees with a sign that said "This is a good kissing spot" and a bunch of other things for our guests to "discover" if they chose.
