The vision behind this shoot came from the need to look for beauty in unimaginable places. Taking the raw charm of the industrial wedding venue and adding luxury items including the brides sequined Berta wedding dress and impressive floral decorations. The Magpie in us is going crazy!

The inspiration behind this shoot came from the industrial, decaying venue itself. I wanted to use the harsh environment to demonstrate how you can achieve a high-end and beautiful set up against any kind of backdrop, in any kind of setting. A contrast of textures was important to soften the space and the abundance of fresh florals brought new life, alongside dried materials that climbed the pillars as if they had organically grown there.
Claudia's look included a gorgeous Berta gown to further demonstrate how you can play with two separate concepts. Paired with simple earrings and a muted Groom's suit the high-end look in an industrial setting sat alongside the abundant floral displays perfectly. Claudia wore her beautiful natural curls with fresh, glowy makeup, complemented with very simple, modern jewellery.
We'd very much like to dance around in the sequined bridal gown like Claudia.
The impressive tablescape with metal chairs, taper candles, soft linens and floral centrepieces is very much the focal point within the industrial setting. Framed by four pillars covered in fresh and dried flowers and foliage. All in varying white, green and beige tones. Although the open space is vast, the atmosphere is sophisticated and cosy. Especially, with the couple donning a beige suit and Berta sequined wedding dress.
