Inspiration

This handmade bridal jumpsuit with a cape is simply super (do you see what we did there?). The couple has been married for three years but never had their big day to celebrate. We can confirm party celebrations were had over not one, but five days! One bride also changed into a fabulous reception outfit complete with a holographic tassel jacket and disco ball crown!  Allison got her dress from Recommended supplier, Made With Love Bridal. The couple hired some wedding decor from Recommended supplier, The Little Wedding Warehouse. Finally, Recommended supplier, Grace Elizabeth is responsible for all those fun and incredible shots!

We hosted a 5-day celebration with 60 of our favourite humans from all over the world! We all stayed at Colehayes and throughout the week we hosted a pub quiz, Team Allison vs. Team Chloe rounders game, fish & chip food truck, scone baking workshop & afternoon tea, hike, flower arranging workshop, yoga, bonfires and swam in the lake on site.

This 5-day extravaganza certainly took a team to create! Almost all of the suppliers were friends and family and everyone helped with the wedding throughout the week. The couple planned the week, summer camp style. There was a team rota and everyone pitched in (even with the wedding meal), to set things up and host some events! Spending lots of quality time with the guests was what was most important to the couple as Allison's family are from California. Chloe and Allison decided on a 5-day long wedding, so they spent the majority of their budget on a venue. This did mean that emphasis on other areas was more limited. Instead, the couple had their hair and makeup completed by friends and a lot of DIY decor. Chloe's outfit was a handmade bridal jumpsuit and cape completed by her nan!

Party Vibes

The couple used the beautiful venue in Dartmoor to really dictate the colours and aesthetics of the day. They wanted to infuse colour through the flowers, and signage that was custom made, and then let the beautiful setting do the rest. The lucky couple had beautiful sunny weather in late September, so they were able to have the ceremony, speeches and dinner by romantic candlelight outside! Our favourite part of this wedding has to be the glitter bar where guests could glitter up for the disco after the ceremony. Allison had a fun surprise outfit change! We need to know where Allison got that disco ball crown from...just asking for a friend.

Vibrant and fun 5-day long wedding extravaganza!

It's so cliche, but the whole wedding was magic and we wish we could relive it over and over! We were so fortunate to have friends and family from all over there, and after being apart during the pandemic, it felt so incredible to all be together. The amount of love throughout the day was so tangible and we felt so grateful to have (finally) been able to celebrate our love and marriage!
