This afternoon's hen party inspiration is pretty much perfect for a Sunday afternoon - it's all about afternoon tea and flower crown making. I couldn't think of a nicer way to spend the afternoon, let alone for your hen party, with additional bubbles, so it's a real treat to share this with you all. The styling is gorgeous but totally achievable if you wanted to recreate this yourselves. However, Becky at Feather and Ferns, and Jess at One Part Love, offer this as a hen party package, making your life SO much easier. You can go to their gorgeous Cambridgeshire location, or they can bring the fun to you! Plus you'll find it hard to beat their floral and cake baking skills ;) P.S. For more alternative hen party ideas, check out this brunch and this boho picnic...
Becky & Jess: Combining gorgeous blooms with scrumptious treats our Cake and Crowns experience offers an afternoon of luxury, laughter and fun. The day starts with you making flower crowns or your own succulent terrarium. Becky from Feather and Ferns will take you through the selection of seasonal flowers, how to condition them and wire each flower and foliage. And of course, when you have finished, you get to wear your creation for the rest of the day. Jess from One Part Love Bakery will then serve hot drinks, even hot chocolate in a teapot, and a selection of gorgeous mini cakes. If that’s not enough we also have freshly baked scones from our scone station with homemade jams and of course, clotted cream. Oh and if you fancy some bubbles on this glorious afternoon we also offer a pimp your Prosecco trolley!
We use the intimate Eagle Mill Boutique Hotel and Wedding Venue set in the Cambridgeshire countryside. However Cake and Crowns can also set up at your home and bring the party to you! The table linen and napkins used are hand dyed botanical textiles from the very talented Mia Sylvia who colours her fabric using organic ingredients such as avocado pips, black beans and rust. Jess and Becky will style your day with our selection of beautiful crockery and glasses, adorning the table with pretty glass vessels of flowers and romantic candles creating a dreamy afternoon tea setting. The afternoon tea experience takes approximately 3 hours and all materials are provided. (Plus there's no extra charge for listening to our records on our retro record player)!
