Libby & Darren had a high-energy wedding at Colville Hall that was as much about the party as it was about celebrating the couple’s love! They had a non-denominational heartfelt service by their local pastor followed by dance-offs and grand entrances by the wedding party at the reception! The couple chose Recommended supplier, Tash Busta Photography, to capture the day and Recommended supplier, Joshua Andrew Potter Videography, to film it all! Libby chose Recommended supplier, Hair by Duboux, to style her locks to perfection! Large decor items to fit the gorgeous terracotta and blush colour palette were found through Recommended suppliers,  Elizabeth James Events.

For my wedding dress, I was booked to go to a boutique in London, my maid and man of honour were coming to stay for the weekend as well as my mum. The day before the booking, the boutique cancelled as someone got covid in the store. Having my mum see me try on dresses was important to me, so I managed to find a last-minute booking! I was sure I wouldn't find my dress, but boy, I was wrong. I found it and it was cheaper than the boutique!

Colville Hall

Libby & Darren wanted their wedding to feel entirely like them. That meant blending their strong faith with their equally strong party spirit all set at Colville Hall barn wedding venue at the tail end of autumn. It was a day fuelled with emotion, laughter and a LOT of dancing! The couple used several Recommended suppliers on Rock My Wedding to create their dream day! Libby & Darren are Christians but a lot of their family aren't, so they had a non-denominational ceremony with great music and decor that reflected their faith. The couple also had a sweetheart table as they wanted some quiet time for just them!

Terracotta & Blush Colour Scheme

The styling and stationery were designed by the bride, so it all stayed true to the couple's personalities. With a terracotta and blush colour palette that complemented the flowers, which were a mix of roses, pampas, eucalyptus and orchids and were all done by the groom's Auntie! They combined all this with vintage vases, medicine bottles and lace table runners! Chef's kiss! The signs, order of service, menus and more all centred on faith and focused on the special memories Libby & Darren shared with friends and family including word searches and other games about the couple!

Adding games throughout your day will keep guests entertained whilst you're enjoying a moment with your beau!

100% the impromptu dance party was our favourite moment of the day! During the wedding breakfast entrance, our bridal party came in before us and started hyping up the crowd. Once we came in and were ready to take our seats, the DJ played one of the boys' favourite songs and literally everyone was up dancing with the groom and the groomsmen having a dance-off in the middle of the room - all before dinner!
