Luxury bohemian wedding inspiration with embellished dresses, a custom embroidered veil and a black sequin bridal cape.

Primrose Farmhill in Oxfordshire offers a combination of a modern, almost Nordic-looking, barn for the wedding ceremony. A cosy reception area with a fireplace. And a spacious white barn with views over 3 counties for a wedding breakfast. This is the English countryside at its best. Couples can choose to get ready in the nearby cottage, which also offers overnight accommodation. We have chosen this particular venue as it is bright, light, and with various backdrops for photos.

STYLING

Katie from The Vintage House That Could put together various items that worked perfectly with the Bohemian luxury theme. Textures and monochrome colours were the key to this shoot, working with dried flowers and grasses, ruffled fabrics and echoing the detail on the dresses in the tablescape and ceremony styling. Katie says: “I began the look knowing that I wanted to use copious amounts of fabric on the table draping down onto the floor, this set the scene for the ceremony too incorporating dried grasses and flowers to add more texture and soft candlelight. The natural feel of the venue was reiterated with the hints of wood and wicker used throughout.

TABLESCAPE

On the table, I wanted to show that using only a limited palette you can create a bohemian feeling but the hint of pink and gold capturing the luxury element. Feathers played a part in the initial mood board and these wispy textures were found in the detailed cake design and the fun hints from the stationery and retro swan centrepieces. The bouquet was created to feel ‘just picked from the meadow but included the sculptural elements seen in the centrepieces and white flowers to stand out against the dried selection.

CUSTOM EMBROIDERED VEIL

Jo from Julita London Bride is an incredibly talented designer who designs and makes dresses for every bride. Dresses used in the shoot reflect the daylight in White Wisteria and the evening dress Night Phoenix brings sexy vibes while still remaining a bridal gown. Veils, also handmade by Jo, add a personal touch and reflect Jeshika’s South Asian heritage. Jeshika is also rocking an evening black sequined cape with incredible details of hummingbirds on the shoulders. Both day and night look worked well with Freya Rose's Micola Champaigne shoes.

This customised embroidered veil says "never another you" what would you have on yours?

It was incredibly exciting to work with super talented Igor Demba and Russell Kent Nicholls. What an inspired duo! The wedding cake is also a work of art by Sugar Plum Bakes. Crafted in buttercream and including detailed sugar leaves and feathers accompanied with individual mini cakes for each guest.
