The impressive Dorfold Hall was the location for this elegant inspiration full of autumn flowers and romantic fashion. Set amongst 800 acres of English countryside you'll be just as amazed by the architecture as you are by decor and details. First, to make it onto our Pinterest board is the incredible floral arch, swiftly followed by the classic wedding cake and tulle wedding dresses. Now, all we need is our very own Mr Darcy exiting a nearby stream and our Jane Austin fantasies are complete.

The location for the editorial was the beautiful and magical, Dorfold Hall. The editorial features stunning bridal portraits around Dorfold Hall's grounds. Plus, a detailed wedding tablescape complete with autumnal florals and taper candles. There's also an iced wedding cake and a floral archway at the outdoor ceremony setup. All of which took place in Autumn 2020.
The styling for this editorial was based on gold, muted tones with hints of rich, vibrant Autumn colours through the flowers. The inspiration was French elegance which was perfectly fitting with the grandeur of Dorfold Hall. The styling focused on clean lines and simplicity. The tablescape featured beautiful autumnal flowers paired with soft pink tones and a luxurious layered place setting. The intimate tablescape was set up in the coach house at Dorfold Hall with eight place settings. This limited number is very current with today's micro weddings taking place. The cake detail was incredible. It was very elegant and autumnal, with intricate floral detailing and really beautifully complementing the tone of the location.

The fashion inspiration and styling for the day was black-tie with soft lace. The bridal styling was very feminine, romantic and ethereal in a lace, delicate wedding dress and intricately detailed leaf gold hairpieces. The makeup was very romantic, English rose, soft glamour.
Dorfold Hall has been the location for many a Rock My Wedding real wedding. Lindsay and Daniel added a floral moon gate and hoop decor to their celebration. And, Hollie and Jonny took full advantage of the grounds at their summer wedding with a marquee reception.
