East Riddlesden Hall rustic Italian-inspired wedding inspiration with greenery, lights and candles

I wanted to create a styled wedding that was magical, with thousands of lights, an abundance of greenery and florals. East Riddlesden Hall was the perfect venue with its barn full of exposed beans and bricks.

ITALIAN-INSPIRED INSPIRATION

An abundance of greenery, lights and candles mixed with a summer moss green and dusty pink palette provided a beautiful warm opulence. The theme at East Riddlesden Hall was definitely not less is more. In fact, it was very much the more the merrier! Gem from Rock & Wreath and Joanne from Tinglz Event Decoration Hire both did an amazing job bringing the theme to life. We wanted the photo shoot to be authentic and inspiring with our newlywed couple providing a warm and natural feel to the photographs.

East Riddleden Hall

The inspiration was set in the beautifully rustic Wedding Barn of East Riddlesden Hall. The wooden beams and walls were adorned with fairy lights creating a dramatic light-infused setting for our team to work with. The amazing gardens were in full bloom, and the pond provided the perfect spot for couples' portraits and the outdoor ceremony.

Fashion And Beauty

We selected the stunning Alessandra wedding gown with cap sleeves and delicate lace wedding dress by Maggie Sottero for the ceremony. Loren’s hair was curled into loose tousled waves with a natural makeup look. This was changed into a gathered softly shaped updo and a stronger lip for the evening reception at East Riddlesden Hall.

Fairy lights are always a good idea.

Cake designer Margaret from Rosehill Cake Studio crafted the most stunning 3-tiered wedding cake. Not only did it look good but it also tasted amazing and was so light. She handmade all the decorations with exquisite sugar paste, spun sugar and rice paperwork. Every detail complimented our moss green and dusty pink colour palette. The beautiful handfasting ceremony conducted by Celebrant Paula further added to the authenticity of our styled shoot at East Riddlesden Hall.
