Emilie and Michel's wedding was written in the stars. This is one wedding reception that you won't forget, with the most incredible hanging lights made to look like clouds in the night sky. To top it off, they had a towering eclair wedding cake with 8 tiers in the shape of a rocket. One word: incredible. Choosing a unique wedding cake is a great way to compliment your theme, whether it's rustic, floral or you'd rather have a stack of pancakes instead!

Our clouds above the head table for the starry night theme was an essential DIY for our wedding! Once we realised that our original location was not possible, we had to rethink the whole organisation and set up of the room to hang them. But we did it and the result was magnificent, we even kept one to make a lampshade!
Emilie and Michel gathered 60 of their close friends and family for an intimate wedding to remember. They wanted to keep things small to retain an intimate atmosphere where everyone could bond and enjoy themselves. Sharing videos, speeches and lots of laughter throughout the day. It looked truly magical, as Emilie and Michel shared their first dance among the stars and clouds (with a helping hand from a smoke machine), complete with mesmerising purple lighting. They had a show-stopping eclair wedding cake in the shape of a rocket to complete their intergalactic wedding theme.

There are so many ways to get creative with your wedding cake, whether that's decorating it with edible flowers, opting for a quirky doughnut tower, or going a bit French with profiteroles and macarons. Remember, it's your day your way, so don't be afraid to get creative!
