What made our wedding so unique was how open all our suppliers were to make the day our own and not just a carbon copy of every other wedding. We were able to customise every aspect of the day to achieve a clear vision we had. Dodmoor House let us use our own DIY styling elements to make the venue feel like ours. We were also able to discuss menu ideas with the chef at Didmblebee Catering and create a bespoke setlist with the band!

Autumn has always been my favourite season so September felt like the perfect time of year to get married. The leaves starting to fall off the trees and everything feels cosier indoors, but (hopefully!) not too chilly that you can’t spend any time outside. We also both said we wanted it to be dark by the time everyone was on the dance floor to really get the party going. Our florist did an amazing job of bringing all the autumnal colours together in the bouquets, I almost cried when she arrived with the flowers on the morning of the wedding! And the foliage decorating the venue looked stunning. Vicky perfectly bought my vision to life. We really wanted a relaxed atmosphere on our day which I think we achieved with the grazing table on arrival, the rows of tables with food to share in the middle, and the VERY generous prosecco and wine top-ups at Dodmoor House really helped everyone get in the party spirit too!
