Grittleton House wedding with bespoke wedding gown

We were so fortunate that we were able to have the wedding of our dreams having lived through such a challenging 18 months with Covid. What made our day unique, despite uncertainty, was our ability to not hold back and have confidence in our vision when planning and being brave to go bold on our decoration and detailing. We fully putting our trust in our suppliers to not be shy and guide us. And wow, did they all deliver!

INSPIRATION

The inspiration started with the venue. Grittleton House has the most stunning feature. We wanted to ensure the styling we picked enhanced the venue and didn't fight with it. The stunning, rustic orangery being neutral, perfectly suited a nude, gold and rust colour palette whilst pampas grass added the perfect romantic texture. The King Proteas and peacock chairs added an extra level of dimension to our styling. We wanted our day to be as relaxed as possible and the styling absolutely helped deliver this vibe.

FAVOURITE MOMENT

One of our favourite moments was taking a minute to look around and watch all our loved ones in one place, laughing and smiling and all just so happy to share our special day with us. We felt so much love around us all day and it was so magical to have the wedding day that we had dreamed of. Not everything went perfect on the day and those moments make us laugh when we reminisce, but still to us, it was the perfect day.

Ok, Hannah really is living proof that a statement bouquet can be utter perfection.

Put your trust in your suppliers, they are the experts and will ensure your day runs smoothly, so you really do not need to sweat the small stuff. Also, book a videographer! We were in two minds, wondering if we could justify adding it into the wedding budget- but do it! The day goes so fast and you will forget so much. It really helps you re-live the emotion.
