Fi & Ollie had to dramatically change plans due to COVID-19, but found themselves with a new found appreciation for their special day. Marrying at the Guildhall in Poole, the rollercoaster lead up gave them time to truly focus on what was important! Fi looked effortlessly chic in a summery Wtoo Watters gown. Their day was relaxed, filled with love, and included personalised ‘Fi & Ollie’ mini hand sanitisers… now, if that doesn’t scream 2020, we’re not sure what does. We believe this is another perfect example of an intimate wedding that looks and feels as though it was filled with 100 people.
What Made Our Day Unique
Getting married during a pandemic was never in the plan. Our day was SO far from our original plans, but other than a few missing faces, (who we will celebrate with as soon as we can), we would not have changed a thing about the day we ended up with.
Guildhall In Poole
Picturesque doesn’t quite cut it for this one! If you’re looking for the perfect backdrop, then we think you’ve found it. Featuring the beautiful curved stairs either side of the building, and leading up to the balcony entrance, we’re pretty sure your wedding pictures will be looking a little Royal… Oh, and that’s without even mentioning the inside!
Inspiration & Styling
We live close to the water and from the outset we hoped to have a waterside wedding reception in Poole with a very relaxed feel. Both of us wanted comfortable outfits for the day which we both achieved. The wedding dress was so light and airy which was perfect for being a bride and a mum to a toddler on the same day!
Fi & Ollie were forced to change their plans due to COVID-19, but that does not mean it’s the end of the world (trust us).
