Hampton Court Palace is a truly breathtaking venue, and this wedding is one you do not want to miss! Kris & Matt wanted to bring both their British and Ukrainian cultures together, allowing for traditions throughout, whilst keeping the day relaxed and unscripted. We absolutely love how chilled the vibe of this day feels, coupled alongside the grander and elegance of Hampton Court Palace. The picture perfect pastel tones featured within the florals give us all those summery feels we’re craving during these winter months! We wanted to bring our cultures together and mix British elegance with various Ukrainian traditions. Keeping the day organised but unscripted and relaxed.
We did minor styling as the venues spoke for itself. The main aim was to have a wedding which exuded elegance, but was also laid back. We wanted pops of colour, which was achieved through the flowers we used. Listen to your suppliers, they’ve seen the good and the bad - they can give good advice! You can’t be in control of everything! Let the day flow as it should so you can enjoy ever single bit of it. My parents went to a huge effort to bring various traditional Ukrainian items, including some homemade drinks by my uncle!
We love Kris’s off-the-shoulder wedding gown complete with dramatic train, which looks incredible in every single picture.
All the suppliers were amazing and they worked together to make our day spectacular.
