Do what suits you, this is your day, do it your way, no matter what. Try your best not to get stressed - everything will fall in to place.

Our day was completely 'us'. Our venue, Inn on the Lake was magical. We travel to the lakes quite a bit with our dog - Henry, so it was important that he was there with us. The lakes were perfect on Ullswater lake. The day was relaxed, friendly and topped off with a huge party with everybody that we love. You can never rely on the weather in the Lake District, especially in winter, so we expected the worst. On the day it was drizzly, which suited our venue and actually perfected our pictures outside.

Enjoy every second, the day goes so quickly!

We have so many favourite moments from the day. The ceremony was perfect. Scott being stood waiting for me, with Henry in his suit, looking at the incredible views was amazing. The singing waiters were a favourite - our guests still talk about how brilliant they were and what a fantastic atmosphere they created, especially after the meal. We definitely continued the party into the early hours of the night!
