Hollyoaks' actress Jessamy Stoddart wedding to West End star Ryan O'Gorman was full of surprises. The biggest surprise of all being the magical flurry of snow. Their gorgeous winter wedding took place at Recommended venue Iscoyd Park with a rendition of "I Love you Baby" during the ceremony and all guests playing Kazoo's they'd found hidden under their seats. Snow, snow and more snow. The day before we had a huge storm so the wedding morning started in the glorious autumnal sunshine. As soon as we’d finished the ceremony it snowed for hours. It was magic.
Favourite Moments
Can you say all of it? One moment when it snowed fiercely stands out to me. Other guests came outside for piccies and all of our friends and families watched from the windows. That was when I stopped and thought, ‘this is what it’s all about!’
Jessamy Stoddart Wedding
I would say our wedding had a relaxed 70s vibe. I love simplicity, mixing tones and textures. We have very talented friends so three of our nearest and dreariest sang at different points in the day. For the evening we had a DJ who was later joined by Tom on Bongos and Jonny on Sax.
Recommendations
One of my biggest recommendations, whatever your budget is to hire an on the day coordinator if you want to be as chilled as I was in the day and the weeks preceding. Hiring Emily at In Awe Weddings (along with the venue, whose staff are just 10/10) allowed me to be worry-free and completely in the moment every single minute. They think of the things you would never think about and completely have you covered. Worth every single penny and more!

Do what YOU want to do. We had a small wedding and at first, we were worried about people being offended, but no one was. I’m so glad we did it this way because the intimacy of the day made it, and the party was epic.
Jessamy Stoddart wedding to West End star Ryan O'Gorman isn't our first celebrity wedding. We've also shared actress Jessica Fox's micro wedding who also stars in Hollyoaks as Nancy. And, West End stars Nicola and Matt's rustic day who starred in Aladdin and Chicago. The show really does go on!
