How gorgeous does Olivia look in her Justin Alexander bridal gown? Complete with her incredible veil and classic bouquet, we’re absolutely obsessing! Deciding they wanted to marry no matter what, Olivia & Adam cut back their wedding numbers, opting for something more intimate. Their ceremony was filled with love. They then spent time mingling with guests (socially distanced - of course), before a little post-wedding photoshoot. We honestly couldn’t think of a more gorgeous setting for this gorgeous couple!
Justin Alexander bridal gown in an intimate and wintery ceremony
So many couples say they spend no time together on their wedding day. Not having a full day celebration meant we could go away for the night and relive the day. Celebrating becoming husband and wife, just the two of us.
We scaled back our venue flowers to just a table decoration. Davenport House was dressed for Christmas, with wreaths, candles, baubles and garlands everywhere and a very impressive tree. The team there gave us the most beautiful setting for our ceremony.
We both loved the moment we had alone together after the ceremony. Making the most of the beautiful weather to take pictures, and reliving the day with a bottle of Champagne just the two of us that evening.
For anyone trying to get married during the pandemic - go ahead with as much as you can on the day. Be prepared to be flexible! It's impossible to have anything set in stone at the moment, you just have to run with it & trust that it will all come together on the day.
Doesn’t Olivia & Adam’s wedding just prove that love wins? It always does - trust us!
Originally, we wanted an elegant winter wedding. Lots of white flowers and foliage, good food, drink and music, surrounded by all of our friends and family, to really make the most of everything Davenport House offers. What we actually had was an incredibly intimate and joyful ceremony, with a focus on what’s truly important – getting married.
