Mikaella Bridal Gown At Industrial Wedding

Photography by The Gibsons

Emma’s Mikaella Bridal wedding dress is a showstopper, so prepare yourself for the rest of this beautiful day! Wanting a relaxed and party vibe, Emma & Paddy opted for informal, but still a little wow factor (of course). Their look was enhanced with the help of Recommended Suppliers, Rewritten Bridesmaid Dresses and MacGregor & MacDuff for killer kilts! The Engine Works wedding venue gives a great industrial look, which is enhanced through festoon lighting, orange fabric table runners and small floral arrangements. Now, don’t let us keep you, it’s time to start scrolling!

The whole day was incredible, but walking down the aisle with our daughter was very special. So was the first espresso martini at dinner - we both needed the caffeine after early rises!

ADVICE

Emma & Paddy advise not reading too much into what other people do, or what is the done thing! Of course, traditions are nice, but hey, if they aren't for you, then is there really much point? Of course not! It's Your Day, Your Way. They also suggest making it fun! It can feel a little like homework when you're looking at a spreadsheet and balancing a budget, but keep in mind you're planning the biggest and best party you're ever likely to throw, so enjoy the moment!

READINGS & MUSIC

Emma & Paddy opted for hymns that meant a lot to them during their wedding ceremony and a bible reading. As they signed the register, a couple of their friends played the guitar and fiddle! Paddy was responsible for the drinks reception playlist (an important task!) And their band, Brotherman, really got the party started. They played (in the words of Emma), banger after banger! No cheesy disco tunes, just lots of disco classics!

The boho styling of our blank canvas venue was beyond anything we could have achieved on our own!

Emma & Paddy

Emma’s beautiful Mikaella Bridal Gown looks stunning, and finding The One isn’t always easy! This gorgeous couple also opted for a dry-hire venue, meaning they could style and decorate whilst truly showcasing their personalities. And of course, they also shared their day with their little girl, and we’re all about those vibes!
