Planning

Romantic blush pink weddings never go out of fashion. No matter what trends come and go, which shades are named 'colour of the year,' pink is universally and eternally adored. This inspiration shoot, brought together by the lovely Helen at Pudding Bridge, with Pynes House as it's setting, is full of beautiful, elegant details. The fresh flower table runner, the illustrated cake, the dreamy Naomi Neoh wedding dress - this is wedding inspiration at it's most feminine and graceful, just like the ballet dancers it is inspired by. An ethereal shoot called for an ethereal wedding photographer, so naturally Imogen Xiana was behind the lens...enjoy lovely ones.

Blush Pink Ballet Inspired Shoot At Pynes House

Helen at Pudding Bridge: This editorial was inspired by the grace, elegance and movement of ballet dancers. I was influenced by the refined sophistication and timelessness of these performers paired with their beauty and romantic stature. The setting for this editorial was the stunning Pynes House nestled just outside of Exeter in the south west of England. A light and airy country house wedding venue in Devon set in its own rolling parkland. The estate is history. It’s believed to be the inspiration for Barton Park in Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility. The images perfectly captured by Imogen Xiana show a sophisticated, feminine yet strong Bride with her masculine, doting Groom. Their unwavering love was a an important facet that we wished to convey in the shots. Her demure pose with his manly stature created a feeling a real love and security.

Naomi Neoh Wedding Dress

Our bride wore the most luxurious dress designed by the talented Naomi Neoh via Perfect Day Bridal. The soft flowing straps added a truly beautiful detail to it's minimalistic design. We wanted our bride running through the grand hallways of Pynes House with the fabric of her gown cascading behind her. This tied together our desire to implement movement and motion into the imagery. Small added details like the ribbons on her pastel pink shoes hinted to the ballet inspiration along with the incredible gold halo designed by Victoria Fergusson.

Floral Runner

The opulent table scape was designed to inspire our luxury brides. Subtle and stunning details on a bed of pastel pink satin. The sumptuous floral runner designed by Foxy Buds and Dinah Taylor perfectly puddled on the floor to create an elegant design dripping in florals. Mottled blush plates with added details of gold cutlery, champagne saucers and delicate napkins completed the look without detracting from our floral statement. As florals were a large part of the scheme, we wanted to utilise the incredible entrance stairs that really are the heart of the house. Green florals with hints of pinks and blush rose cascading down the steps, truly set the scene for a romantic and timeless wedding.
