When navy midi bridesmaid dresses meet a Thames boat cruise, you know it’s going to be a good one. Nina & Tom finally said their I-dos after postponing their wedding twice. And the extra two-year wait made it even more special! Their day was perfectly captured by Recommended Supplier, Holly Rose Weddings, and featured wedding invitations from Papier. Their wedding was also vegan from start to finish and was well received by wedding guests! With a boat ride from Orleans House Gallery to The Wharf and incredible speeches from the bride & groom’s wedding party, we’re unsure what else this day could need…

Our canapés were delicious, and The Wharf put on a bespoke three-course wedding breakfast which everyone loved. Considering none of our guests is vegan, they were all pleasantly surprised by how much they enjoyed the food!

NAVY MIDI BRIDESMAID DRESSES

Nina & Tom knew they wanted their day to feel very laid back and easy. For the styling, they wanted elegant and understated. They chose navy blue for Tom’s suit and the bridesmaid dresses, which they knew would compliment the white and green flower arrangements. As they’re big foodies, the food was incredibly important to them, especially as they were catering for non-vegans and they wanted to impress! Which it seems they most certainly did.

SUPPLIERS

Nina & Tom found their suppliers through lots of research! They knew they wanted to marry close to home. As they’re lucky enough to live in a beautiful borough, it made sense to keep it local. As they love the river, they also knew they wanted to incorporate this into their day somehow. Orleans House Gallery was the perfect location, as it is right next to the river and surrounded by beautiful greenery and flowers, which were all in bloom for Spring.

Tom's friends from high school made the journey from the US, which was really special as they hadn't seen each other in over 10 years.
