Debbie and Chuck chose to tie the knot at Poggio Piglia amongst the greenery in Tuscany. They are a Chinese couple but live in California, USA. Their wedding planner, Olga of Eachother Weddings and Events organised every detail of their destination wedding perfectly with miniature olive oil favours and the cutest "I'm just here for the cake" flag for the page boy. The ceremony took place in a small and steep part of the garden with guests standing so they felt more involved in the moment. The atmosphere was magic, convivial and relaxed and continued throughout their poolside drinks reception and wedding breakfast.
We wanted an intimate wedding, and Olga from Each Other Weddings planned exactly what we were looking for.Debbie & Chuck
Our reception was most memorable because we sat at one long table like a big family. It was perfectly intimate, and as the bride and groom, we made it a point to engage with every one of our guests and enjoy dinner with friends and family. We wanted it to be like one big family dinner, and that's exactly what we got!
The venue, Poggio Piglia, was stunning and full of beautiful plants and flowers in mid-august: lavender, rosemary, roses, olive and the cypress tree. The look was organic and lush and perfectly matched the style of the venue. The table was decorated with a small local olive oil bottle as favours for guests and a super cute menu decorated with a small olive branch.
Don't try to please others because you can't make everyone happy. Plan the wedding you've always wanted, and make sure you have time to eat and enjoy the wedding!Debbie & Chuck
Hosting a destination wedding is no mean feat. Be that Poggio Piglia, like Debbie and Chuck, or, Ravello like Ying and Mike. Being prepared and hiring a wedding planner who is familiar with the area could save you hours in wedmin.
