Inspiration

Not only did this couple marry at, Recommended venue, Tythe Barn, but the bride also wore a stunning Pronovias strapless wedding dress. Rebecca & Katsu were also the first official outdoor wedding in Oxfordshire! The law had recently changed on their wedding day so that they didn't need to stand within the barn to be married. Like many couples over the last 2 years, they had to reschedule their wedding twice from August 2020 to April 2021 to July 2021. But we have to say, this wedding was worth the wait. The couple designed their stationery with Recommended supplier, Lilac & White, and also organised their gift list with Recommended supplier, The Wedding Shop.

Sparkly Pronovias strapless wedding dress with flower detail

My close friend, Marta, actually found our venue through Rock My Wedding about a month after our engagement in late 2018 - it was the only one we viewed as it was perfect! We then found the remaining suppliers via Instagram and some from Rock My Wedding's real weddings. It was great to see featured and tagged photos from weddings to give an idea of what we could expect. I sent some photos of what I liked the look of (from both Rock My Wedding & Pinterest) as well as my Pronovias strapless wedding dress and my sister's bridesmaid dress to Charlie (the florist) who did a beautiful job capturing our vision and bringing it to life.

Pronovias Strapless Wedding Dress

Rebecca & Katsu ended up with 32 guests from 90 but the smaller number made the day even more perfect. As this meant they got to spend time and speak with everyone individually. Rebecca originally had a beautiful mermaid dress from Enzoani. However, by the time the couple had to move their date, Rebecca realised it wasn't her style anymore. All the rescheduling gave the bride more time to find her absolute dream dress from Pronovias! There's no debate here, Rebecca's Pronovias strapless wedding dress is certainly a dream. We can't get enough of it!

The Vibe

Intimate, relaxed and fun is the vibe this couple wanted. Especially as their wedding was most of their guest's first big event in almost 1.5 years. The Tythe Barn is so beautiful in its own right, so they kept it traditional and classic. The couple decided on classic green and white for the flowers with pink accents. Extra details the couple chose reflected the fun and relaxed vibes too. They went for a rock-indie band, which naturally played 'Mr Brightside' by The Killers as the final song of the night. That always gets everyone up and dancing around. They also had a Pimp your Prosecco station and a Photobot (an AI photobooth!).

An intimate wedding might be a better option for you if you want to make time to speak to each guest individually

We want to give a shout-out to all our vendors who made our wedding day dream a reality: our photographer, Matt, and videographer, Adam, who captured our day to treasure forever; Charlie who elevated the beauty of our venue; Tamara who made me, my sister, and my mum feel radiant, and Laura who managed the day seamlessly taking away any worries.
