Silverholme Manor Wedding
Lottie & George tied the knot at Silverholme Manor in the Lake District. The Grade II listed Georgian manor has unrivalled views over Lake Windermere, which was the ultimate selling point for Lottie & George. With 8 en-suite bedrooms and a private cottage for 2, it was the perfect place to make some memories with their loved ones! For the wedding day, the couple opted to embrace the natural beauty of the venue and the backdrop of the Lake District with white, green and touches of gold, including those stunning gold bridesmaid dresses! Lottie & George prioritised a minimal but stylish vibe with some personal touches, which included two wedding readings, The Art of Marriage by Wilfred Peterson and Everything I Know About Love by Dolly Alderton. They ended the day with a bang. Literally. Lottie’s mum and sister arranged a surprise firework display. What an incredible day!
Everything will be okay on the day! Try and enjoy the planning process because the day itself goes so quickly. That being said, we recommend planning a day-two! We absolutely loved spending quality time with everyone the day after our wedding and it meant more time to make sure we saw all our guests properly and people commented how lovely it was to make a weekend of it.
