Black Tie Babington House Wedding

I always like to start my couple portraits by bringing my couple into their wedding breakfast room so they can see their vision before guests arrive. My reason for starting the session here is that as we leave the venue we can start to seat guests and my couple never miss out on time with their guests during the drinks reception. I then took Rosie & George around the grounds, chasing the soft summer lighting and capturing those natural moments as well as offering direction when needed.

Black Tie Babington House Wedding

The backdrop of Rosie & George’s wedding was Babington House, a Grade II-listed manor built in 1705. Surrounded by 18 acres of English countryside in the heart of Somerset, the venue is beautiful. With exclusive use of the house and the grounds, the relaxed vibe Rosie & George wanted was easily achieved. Rosie’s bridal look took everyone's breath away when she appeared from Babington House wearing an Aleena Lena Monstera Gown with an addition of an overskirt, veil and iconic gloves. Rosie held a bouquet of long-stemmed white roses to add to the elegant vibe. The styling of the whole day was a black and white modern minimalist theme and it just screams editorial.

From the moment they entered the room, the band started playing and let's just say the party started, breaking free from tradition the couple jumped up on a podium and along with everyone in the room started singing and dancing to each song. The room was electric and if you want to bring some energy to your day, ditch the singing waiters and definitely invest in a band whose energy and vibe match yours and your guests.
