My dad passed away when I was 6 and a few weeks before the wedding we visited his grave and I cheekily asked him for one present - nice weather. Luckily, he must have been listening as the day started overcast but we got to have our outdoor wedding - our guests said that as we said our vows the sun broke through the clouds and, for the rest of the day, we had glorious sunshine and blue skies (albeit a little chilly!).
We always knew it would be the happiest day and weekend of our lives, so we wanted to make sure we could do the best job in making it one of the happiest days for other people too.
