How does the process work?
My specialty is custom shoe design, if you don't see exactly what you are after I can assist in designing your perfect shoe. The design process usually starts with an inquiry about a particular pair of shoes, however in a different colour, smaller heel or adding personalised details such as crystals, bows or something to match the wedding theme, outfit or dress, something to make them truly unique. I can also do completely new designs. Upon receipt of the inquiry, I will contact you within 24 hours to answer questions, share inspiration photos, and talk design details. There is over 150 base shoes to choose from, in a variety of styles, heel types and heights. All shoes can be dyed by hand using premium quality textile dye to match your wedding colours and outfit.
Handmade?
I have an excellent working relationship with a small company that make all my base shoes by hand. All the shoes arrive with me plain. I then completely design and customise them to each individual needs. Beading work is done by hand, I have a huge range of different appliqués and embellishments available, or I can make something specific. Shoes are dyed by hand and often dyes can be mixed to create an exact colour to match your outfit. Over 10 years experience has given me a range of skills to design and create unique shoes and accessories for each individual.
Sustainability, The Environment and Vegan:
Sustainability and the environment is very important to me on both a personal and professional level. Materials are all sourced locally where possible, all packaging materials are eco-friendly and either made from recycled material or fully recyclable. In a bid to help the planet I do not use plastic in our packaging. All my shoes are made from man-made materials only, I do not use animal products or products test on animals on either a professional or personal level. All glitter products are biodegradable. All Vinyl is a OEKO-TEX certified, vegan product. I have spent many years researching and sourcing products and suppliers which fit with my personal ethos of protecting our planet, environment and animals.
