FAQS
Do you travel?
Yes, I do. I cover the whole South West of England and throughout the UK too. I have photographed weddings in Berkshire and London and would love to photograph a wedding abroad.
Do you offer Engagement/Pre-Wedding Shoots?
Yes, in fact I highly recommend you book an engagement shoot or pre-wedding shoot, mainly to meet me in person and get a feel for what I will be like on your wedding day. It is also a great way to get some amazing photos of you and your partner at an amazing part of your journey as a couple.
What is your style of photography?
Great question! I love shooting natural photographs and blend in with the environment. I often get comments from couples on how they barely notice I am at the wedding, but get such amazing natural photographs of the guests and of the couple themselves. I love to shoot candid and in a photojournalistic way. Obviously there will be times I get you to pose and away from the party, but who doesn't love those couple photos?
When do we get to see our photos?
Imagine you've just woken up the morning after your wedding, all you can think about is what happened the day before. Then (if it hasn't happened already), you see an email/WhatsApp from me with ~dozen photos of your wedding day!!! I like to call these 'HERO Shots' and a great thing to have so soon after your big day. Now, obviously depending on your wedding venue location to my house, there are only so many hours I can Sellotape my eyes open for, so you may get some shots later on in the day. In terms of the full album, this will happen between 4-8 weeks. I deliver all your photos on an online gallery. This way you can share these with your friends and family. I will also deliver to your address, a personalised USB box with again ~dozen free prints. An example USB box can be found on my Instagram (@justjamesweddings).
We are not confident in front of camera, what is your advice?
I get this all the time and honestly I hope my personality will help you feel relaxed and enjoy the whole process. As already mentioned, if you feel like you need help in front of camera, an engagement or pre-wedding shoot can help massively and many a couple have come away from this experience so happy. T Also, the best thing about my booking process is that I try to find things out about you and I try to do the same thing back, so that there is a relationship already built there before your big day. I do not force anything, try to get you to relax and have ways of making sure your bridal party help with this too.
